Requesting electronic delivery of 1099 on invoiceinfo

I received an email from adobetax@adobe.com asking me to provide my TAX Id/SSN on a page https://<6digitnumber>.invoiceinfo.com/get1099.html  In order to receive this year’s 1099 as an eStatement. 

I am surprised and suspicious(of phishing) that Adobe asked me to provide such sensitive information on a page outside adobe.com domain. Why couldn't this be part of my ContributorAccount/Settings page, where I upload my W9. I'll feel more safe making this selection, inside the Contributor Account.

AFAIK, Adobe has always used invoiceinfo.com for 1099 data collection.  That's nothing new or surprising.

That said, this is a user-to-user Contributor forum, not Adobe.   Please submit your concerns directly to Stock Contributor Support from your contributor panel.

Thank you for the response. It is re-assuring to hear from someone else that Adobe uses invoiceinfo for 1099. 

I already reached out to Adobe support via ContactUs option. I wanted to hear from other users, if they have been having similar experience and concerns.
