Told out of focus, yes that correct for 80% of the pic

It's a flower shot. Those usually get marked "no commercial or aesthetic appeal", so I guess that's an improvement!

As far as the focus issues go, that's a really narrow depth of field. Even your main flower isn't fully in focus. Part of it certainly is, but some of it isn't. Maybe the reviewer just felt that the whole of the main flower should be in focus.

I agree with the other response, it does look a bit like a floating object in that respect.
