Thank you both @MNiessenPhoto and @johnrellis for your replies and suggestions. The strange thing is that I never had this problem before. It only happend after the recent update of LrC to 10.3 (and at the same time Windows keeps on updating as well as the NVIDIA GPU driver). Thank you @johnrellis for the suggestion on giving this issue more attention.

When I place photos on the map by dragging and dropping, they are dropped a few centimeters (on the screen) besides the location where I dropped them. Is this a bug? (Windows 10 up to date; Lr Classic 10.3)

I don't know what is the cause of the problem. I am only a user. I asked both NVIDIA and Adobe to solve this problem. So I presume they will be discussing this with each other right now, since they both told me to look at this very seriously.

Finally there was contact with a real person from Adobe. (The "help" does not work in my Chrome browser, but it worked in Firefox). Long story short, I have to switch off Use Graphics Processor in edit>>preferences>>performance. So the problem is not solved, since I now can't take advantage anymore of the GPU. But at least the PC does not crash anymore. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update....

You need to guide me further. If I click on https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services/how-to-contact-adobe-support/td-p/11875703 I get this page. Then I click https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen and get a page as you seen in the screen shot. I still don't find a way to contact a person.

Hi Dave, Thanks for your reply. I just updated the driver of my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti to the latest version 465.89 in a clean install. There is no "studio driver" available for GeForce GTX 980 Ti. The problem is not solved... 😞 Is there an other driver you can recommend for GeForce GTX 980 Ti ? I want to try the new Super Resolution. When I open a CR2 file in Photoshop, Camera Raw works fine. But if I choose Enhance the PC crashes completely and restarts. Everything is up to date. Windows 10 Pro version 2004 build 19041,867 Photoshop 22.3 Camera Raw 13.2 The same problem occurs when I want to use Neural Filters. (and this is already for several months)

I make a photo. Import in Lr. Edit in Ps. When I come back to Lr I want to export it as png and get the error (in Dutch) "het exportfilter voor naverwerking kan het bestand niet renderen" and nowhere I find a search result for this error message. What am I doing wrong??? Translation of the error is: The export filter for post processing can't render the file.

Does Canon offer proprietary software for developing its cameras’ raw files? If so maybe that can process the file … The Canon software is really very bad and it has always been. I don't know any Canon photographer who uses it... So I even did not install it when I bought the Windows 10 computer....

Just to clear that part up - they don't read the raw data, only the embedded jpeg preview that the camera processed and put inside the file. I did not know. The embedded jpeg preview is as large (in pixels) as the CR2 file. It would be nice if the Adobe software would recognise the embedded jpeg file (and give a warning that there is a problem with the CR2 file).

This was the only image on the card that was affected. Sometimes (in previous sessions) the card does not save an image correctly, but that I can see directly in the camera.

I copied it using a card reader. Windows explorer and Windows Photos App can see it. I could even make a .jpg from it in Windows Photos. This jpg can be opened in Ps and Lr.
