@Tape99    Conrad is correct that you have enabled the Narrow Options bar (meant for small monitors). If you don't want to disable it (best), there are other choices. The controls remain in the same left-to-right order, so the one for auto-select is to the left of the Layer/Group dropdown Reset the Move tool: right click the Move tool and choose "Reset Tool". Auto-Select is on by default until it is turned off   You can also use either of the two methods we had before the Photoshop team gave us auto select. I have let it run for a little while, and it continues to search the same items repeatedly. I have not let it complete, as I let it run for well over an hour, and it was still running By @LEIP   I downloaded a large website a long time ago (15-20 years).       Why do I need to deactivate 'both' old activations, when I only want to activate one new computer? By @animaatn   You don't. You need to have one activation available to activate one computer.     What if I'm not able to re-activate on any computer afterwards?   Adobe does not reset activations. When i draw a box and press enter, Suddenly it crops to just one pixel. All other pixels are cropped out.  By @saifudheent63699917   I noticed that your options for the Crop tool are: W x H x Resolution equals 1 pixel.   Please reset the options for the Crop tool to go back to the defaults. @TheMarketingEdit    In addition to what kglad said, please confirm these: Your subscription can technically be used by one person on two computers (home and work, for example), but not all offices allow this when they pay for the subscription. Does your office permit this? Did you download the CC app and sign in with the same login and pw, then install the applications from the CC app? The last version of Creative Suite (CS) was CS6. Do you mean Creative Cloud (CC) which has been with us since 2013 and is now CC 2025? If you actually meant CS, then you need to have one of your two activations available.   Jane ... View more

@Chowardart    One thing to try is to turn off automatic updates for applications in the Creative Cloud app, then start your updates when it is convenient for you. My updates are very fast (a minute or two), but I still update manually. Eight hours sounds excruciating!   Note that updating the CC app itself is a separate setting. Seems something happened to my PC that caused icons to go messing from the Windows Start Menu. The programs were still there, but the Windows Start Menu icons went missing.
