The key difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Beta is that the Beta version includes experimental features and early access to new tools that are still under development, allowing users to test them before they are officially released in the standard Photoshop version, essentially, Photoshop Beta is a testing ground for new features where users can provide feedback to Adobe to help refine the product before its full release.

PS 26.1 is now live and should be available, which has a fix for this Bug.
Note - Please note that to use Asset Link , you need to launch Photoshop in the Rosetta mode.

Open PS in Rosetta for the AEM plugin to work.
This is a bug in versions 25.12 and 26.0
We are working on a new update to address the issue, unfortunately, I can't share the release date, but this will soon be addressed.

As you can see in the second screenshot you posted, it says "Deleted-Org," meaning the contract has already expired and the console has been deleted.

If you encounter this error - "The necessary components are being downloaded. Come back later to use the tool once the download is complete. When accessing the "Remove Tool," please follow the steps below. Note - If you are an end user, please reach out to your Admin and ask them to do it for you.
To create a package, navigate to Admin Console > Packages, click Create a Package, and Install a managed package from the Admin Console, which includes the remove tool component for Photoshop.

Hi @Benjamin357195171zgj As you know, technically, Windows 8.1 is no longer supported, but you. may try running the tool kit via admin, and if that still doesn't work, delete the licensing files manually by deleting the folder OperatingConfigs, located at C:\ProgramData\Adobe\OperatingConfigs

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\OperatingConfigs and delete the folder OperatingConfigs, reinstall the license only package, and it should resolve the issue, provided the apps are still present on the machine.

I had a look at the logs, and they do not give a clear indication as to why the package failed to install, however. if you try installing it on an offline machine, that will not work. PSE needs access to the internet for validation.
Secondly, it looks like the package was not extracted before installation, and if that's true, can you lease extract the package on, say Desktop and try the installation?
