Hello, Sorry if it's not the right place to report what I found to be an issue. I'm working to create a book from a 212 pages PDF PowerPoint presentation. The import work flawlessy. However, not a single image boundy box has the Blue Square to anchor the image in a text. Here in attachment are 4 objects. I've collated 4 screen captures to demonstrate the issue. The bottom one is the one coming from the PDF import. See its bounding box !?! The there others are tests I made to try understanding the situation. If I group two PDF imported images together, the grouping becomes normal again. As a work around, I have to "reveal in Finder" the image object I want to anchor in a text, delete it an drop it again into my project. Then all is normal. Any help, advice ? Best regards, Thierry

Hello! It's a bit late but I ran into this exact same problem AND FOUND the cause of it. I had three B&W photos in a 3oo page book whose PDF turned fine on the first opening, then on any subsequent, these images wehre inverted White&Black. All are PSD files. So, I re-openened each file, flattened all layers ... Same issue !!! Then I figured out that for only these images, the "content" was larger than the "frame". Instead of cropping the image under Photoshop, I got lazy and shrunk their frame on my pages. I've reopened each of them under Photoshop, cropping them to the exact part of the image I wanted to place. Now the exported PDF is fine. So. No probleme with shrinking or expanding an image. However, the image must exactly fit its frame (Command-Shift-Option-E, then Command-Option-C). Hope it helps others here. Rgds, Thierry

Dear all, It's interesting: I opene this thread on March 23. Today, I see 120 replies and I'm no longer the original poster. Are you merging threads? Just needs to understand how this interface works. By the way, thank you to Adobe employees to have investigated in and fixed the issue. That's what counts. Regards, Thierry

Hello, I've just tried it as instructed on V24.4 (V24.3 is uninstalled for 24.2 as I need to get my work done). Beta V24.4 has the exact same problem (inherited from V24.3 I presume). I've opened V24.4 and removed the "Save" step of my an Action. I've checked the "Legacy Save As" Preference I've closed V24.4 and reopened it I've added back the "Save" step at the and of that Action and tried it. --> Same problem "Could not complete the command because of a program error" Modall. I confirm the problem. It's a regression as up to V24.2, it has always worked cleany. Thanks and regards, Thierry

Didn't see that question ... No, it's not checked. I've just tried cheking it on the Beta version (because I've reverted to 24.2 to get my work done) ... and it's the same "Could not complete the command because of a program error". Thank you for helping out.

Hello Indeed. I tried first removing the Save step (because it was annoying to always have to acknowledge to the Modall) Then I recorded that action step again reinstating the Save step as last step … with the same results. I checked that Photoshop was allowed Full Disk Access … and even rebooted the Mac (Big Sur 11.7.4) I downloaded the newly posted Beta upgrade to check if the problem only existed with 24.3 … and it fais to on 24.4 Best regards Thierry PS: I’m a retired software engineer.

Hello, All my actions that contain a "Save" (not Save As) step fail and halt with this error modall: "Could not complete the command because of a program error". Independent "Save" works as usual. Only in an Action saving fails. I've made sure Photoshop was allowed Full Disk access. I've even rebooted my Mac. I've reverted to 24.2 and it works back again, hopefully. Thanks for allowing reverting to a previous version. I've also tryied with the latest Beta ... same problem. Pleas fix this issue otherwise I'm stuck with V24.2 for long. Best regards, Thierry
