Thank you very much for this reply. Unfortunately, I am on a Mac (Sonoma). I searched my "Library" folder for PSW files and couldn't find any in my system. However, back when I wrote this post, Generative AI was only in Beta. Now that it is in the production version, I don't use the beta anymore. That said, I have an annoying issue with the current PS 2024 and I believe that a clean install might be the only way to fix this. Do you have any Mac suggestions that will allow me to save all my plugins, layouts, etc? I don't think I could remember where everything lives to be sure that it works the same way after the installation.

Hello Jane. "Learn More" took me to Adobe's page that describes the minimum requirements. That was the second screenshot. I listed the comparison; What Adobe Wants vs What I Have. I have the "All Apps" subscription. I successfully saved the PSDC from my desktop Ps v25 to the creative cloud and received a link to share with others. I want to be clear, I can save a PSDC to the cloud. It is in the cloud with a link. I click on the link to see that the file opens and can be edited. This is when I get the error described above. The PSDC file will open in Chrome for viewing and comments, none of the editing buttons are available and I cannot see the layers. I hope this helps clear things up. Thank you for your reply.

I am trying to save a PSDC Invite-to-Edit document to the cloud to share it with others. I posted the link and clicked on it to test that it works. I received the error "This device is not fully supported"
So I have checked;
1. Browser: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge version 102 and above (64-bit), and Firefox version 111 and above on desktop. - "Chrome is up to date Version 118.0.5993.117 (Official Build) (x86_64)" Check!
2. Processor: 64-bit processor with 4+ cores - "3.2 GHz 16-Core Intel Xeon W" Check!
3. Operating System: macOS 10.15 and later - "Ventura 13.6 (22G120)" Check!
4. RAM 8GB: "96 GB 2933 MHz DDR4" - Check!
5. Year 2015 and later: - "? Mac Pro 2019" - Check!
6. Hard-disk space: 6 GB of available hard-disk space - "Available: 1.43 TB (52.15 GB purgeable)" Check!
So may I ask what I am missing? Why will Photoshop on the Web not work on my computer? Thank you in advance for any help that can be offered.

Hello I would have hoped that someone from Adobe could have looked at this by now and maybe offered a suggestion that could help me. I guess they are really busy with all the other bugs. Today I tried again to open a PSB from LrC v13.0.1, again I received the error described above. Because I still need to work, I did this; 1. In LrC I RT-clicked and chose "Show in Finder" 2. I launched Ps v25.0.0 3. I dragged the PSB from the finder to the Ps icon in the dock, Ps opened the file without any errors. So, this could be a workaround for others with the same issue. It could also be a clue to Adobe as to where the issue resides. Why does one method produce an error and another opens the file? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello This seems to be a recurring issue going back some time. Each time it was said that the issue was resolved with the latest update. I am currently using the latest version of Ps on an Intel Mac Pro and I am getting this warning so I will post this as a new issue should anyone else also be experiencing this error. First, I was receiving these errors while using macOS Monterey. I also have seen the messages that Adobe would prefer that I use Ventura, macOS v13. So I embarked on the upgrade journey. Before I did I removed Ps 2024 (v25) and Ps (Beta). I only left Ps 2023 (v24) on my system. I have now installed macOS Ventura v 13.6. I downloaded and installed Ps 2024 (v25) and I have received the error "Could not open "filename.psd" because there isn't enough room to dock it on this monitor. Try turning off Open Documents as Tabs in the Workspace Preference panel. Which I did. I tried again, only to receive the error "Could not open "filename.psd" because there isn't enough room to display this document. OK, so I created a new blank document 3000 x 2400 and made it a tab. I then went to the File>Open Recent and selected the same document that produced the error and it opened. It opened stand-alone, not as a tab. This file that generated the error is 6000 x 4000, a file size that never produced errors in Ps v24. What I can't understand is why these errors now appear with v25 when they never appeared before with any previous versions and I am using the exact same monitors with the exact same configuration. The main display is a Dell U4021QW set at 2560 x 1080 (Default). Should it matter, my second display is a Dell U2720Q set at 1920 x 1080. All of my panels and toolbars are docked on the right side of my screen and once I open the offending document, all my tool interfaces are in exactly the position I expected them to be. Nothing is off the screen or on the second display. So, as a non-technical person, I have reached the limit of what I know how to do. This is very frustrating and I hope that someone at Adobe will recognize the problem, offer a solution, and maybe fix this for the next update. Thank you very much in advance.

I have uninstalled v25 and reinstalled it and the problem persists. This is so frustrating, I still have to use v24 and the Ps Beta to get the same functionality as others have in v25. This must be a rare bug since there are not many upvotes on the problem.

Hello. I am having the same error on MacOS 12.6.9 with LrC 12.5 and Ps 25.0.0. I did not receive this error with Ps 24.7.1. As for a workaround, in LrC I choose to open in Photoshop 2023 as a smart object. Save the file. Then in Photoshop 2024, File>Open, then choose the newly created file. If this is associated with my monitors, I am using two monitors: Dell U2722Q and a Dell U4021QW. I agree, this is an anomaly that has arisen with v25.0.0 and impacts my usual workflow, it should be identified and fixed. Thank you very much.

While many things Adobe does makes me mad, I do try to be fair. I usually launch apps from Creative Cloud. That is where Xd has changed the "Open" to "Try". I mistakenly thought I could not access the app anymore. I can however launch the app from the applications folder. So yes, if you had it before, you still have it. When the message was that Xd was no longer part of my subscription that I became upset. But, Adobe, this was an unforced error. Why do you think of the reaction of your customers last? If you don't want to continuously upset your customers, maybe take a little more time in communicating with them!

I too have an All Apps subscription and I cannot access XD. So to say it is still available for those that have a current subscription is wrong. If Adobe could correct this, I still need Xd and I don't think I should have to pay more for something I had. If you haven't bought Figma yet, why would you create this vacuum? This seems to be the new model for All Apps, Charge the same amount but take apps out of the program. Remove support for Dm, but charge for Substance. Remove Xd but charge more for Figma. Adobe is already putting designers out of business with their AI, what customers will you have left to pay your subscriptions when you put us out of work or make it more difficult to earn an income by your cavalier treatment of your user base? So disappointed, but this is not new.

Hello, fellow Adobe users and Adobe team, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Photoshop Beta (v25) update. I was really excited about trying out the new generative fill tool after watching the BÄ“hance presentations over the weekend. I did encounter some confusion while trying to update to the new version. Despite diligently pressing the "Check for Updates" button, I wasn't able to access the new version until today. I now see the update available and the crop tool works as expected in v25. While I understand that software updates can take time to roll out to all users, I would like to suggest that the new version and the showcased tools be made available for download by all customers before they are presented online. This way, users won't get frustrated when they follow the correct steps and still face delays in accessing the new features. I'm sure Adobe's team works hard to provide the best experience for its customers, and I appreciate their efforts in constantly improving the software. My intention is not to criticize but rather to share my experience in the hope that it might help improve future update processes. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope we can all continue to enjoy using Adobe products in the most efficient and enjoyable way possible. Have a nice day!

Hello I have installed Ps (Beta) 24.7.0 on Mac OS 12.6.7 Monterey. My system meets or exceeds all requirements to use Ps and I am over 18 years of age. I have watched videos that explain that I can choose Generative Fill for the fill options. However, on my system, that does not appear. I have forced Creative Cloud to "Check for Updates" and none appear. Can someone please help me understand what I must do to try this new feature? Thank you in advance.

All the new features that Adobe has added to LrC are great! I am looking back at images that I once thought were unusable, I am now able to revive and use them. However, the features in the Enhance Menu seem to all be mutually exclusive; I can use one but not the other if I want to keep the image raw.
It would be great if I could denoise a raw image and then Super Resolution the same image after denoise. I understand that I can export as a full-resolution TIFF after denoise and then use Super Resolution, but now the image is no longer raw. I appreciate that I may not understand how raw images work, and this may not be technically possible, but I thought I would make the suggestion. Have a great day. Rick.

Hello I have enjoyed trying Edit Replay in Lr on my iPhone.
However, I do very little editing on my iPhone/iPad, if at all. I do most of my editing in LrC on the desktop. Invite to Edit has been a very useful tool when collaborating with others once my image has left LrC for Ps. What would be really great would be Edit Replay for LrC. This way I could share all the work in LrC before it got into Ps. Thank you very much.

I can report that I can now see the Edit Replay feature on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Here is what I did. 1. I updated to iOS 16.5.1 2. Using the "cloud" icon I backed up and synchronized my Lr images. 3. I uninstalled Lr 8.4 4. I shut down and restarted my iPhone. 5. I installed Lr 8.4 again. After logging in and synchronizing the app with the creative cloud, the option became visible. I tried it and it worked as expected. Thank you very much for your help.

I have "Forced Quit" as shown in the link provided. When I touched the app to start it again, it seemed to have an opening screen that would suggest that it was reloading to open. I went to an image that has been edited and in the share menu, the Edit Replay is still not an option for me. The screen appears exactly the same as I have posted already.

Hello I am testing Invite to Edit and I have a PSDC document on the Creative Cloud. I generated a link to share with others. When I click the link, I am taken to the PSDC document where a button presents me with two choices; Open in Photoshop or Photoshop (Beta) on the web. I would like to open it in the production version of Photoshop 24.5 on my desktop and so I choose "Photoshop". However, Photoshop (Beta) 24.6 on my desktop launches instead of the production version 24.5. My question is; how do I open an Invite to Edit file in Ps 24.5? Do I have to uninstall the Beta? What will happen to others that have the link and the Beta installed, will they also have to use the Beta app? Maybe there could be a preference somewhere that will allow a choice of versions to be used? Thank you in advance.

Hello and thank you for your reply. I clicked on the three dots at the bottom of my toolbar. "Edit Toolbar" as the only choice that pops up, is not active in Beta 24.6 on Mac OS12, clicking on it does not open the Customize Toolbar panel/window and looks different from the production version. The first screenshot is the production version. The second screenshot is the Beta 24.6.

Standby; after trying to import my presets and all the tools I use, Ps Beta, on start, would present a warning box that "Play" is unavailable. I would dismiss the warning and try to edit my image. That is when I discovered that the Remove Tool was missing. I tried installing the previous Beta version. The same sequence of events happened, the "Play" is unavailable. So I removed all traces of Ps Beta from my system (App, settings, and preferences) and then tried reinstalling 24.6. I can report that the Remove Tool has reappeared. So I apologize for my previous message, it was premature. I will go back to using Ps Beta for the Remove Tool only and use the production version for all my other work. I hope that the Remove Tool will make it into the production version soon, it really is a game changer for all the work I do. Have a great day.

Hello To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I usually don't try Beta software but the Remove Tool was just too tempting, corrections are a large part of my workflow. So I bit the bullet and downloaded the Beta. But to use it I had to upgrade to OS12. That required me to pay for many software upgrades because so many other of my applications used the OS upgrade as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of users. OK, I guess I would have had to do that at some point. So this cost me time and money, but the Remove Tool may be worth it. But wait, there was a new version of the Beta (24.6) and so I downloaded it. Guess what, you removed the Remove Tool! So, I have spent money, wasted time, and for what? Nothing. I know getting mad at Adobe is pointless. It's like tilting at windmills. I just want to point out that if you want people to help with the development of new tools, maybe you could consider treating them better. Just my two cents. Now I have to try to figure out how to load a past version of the Beta.

Hello and thank you for your reply. This sort of helped. I followed the steps to Export All Presets and then Import All Presets in Beta. The return of my workspaces was the most notable improvement. I then tried copying my Preferences (Adobe Photoshop 2023 Settings) to the same Beta folder. I really didn't notice any difference. Specifically, neither of these steps imported my actions. I worked hard making actions to work less and these are not in the beta. It would be nice if the "Migrate Presets" wasn't greyed out, maybe that would have moved my actions. I don't know. Lastly, I have third-party panels that work wonderfully in Ps 24.4.1, however, I imagine that they need to be installed individually in Beta to have access to them. They do not appear in my Beta "Manage Plugins" list, but they do appear in my Ps24 list. I guess I sort of understand that as a Beta, it will not function like a full production release, but if the intention is to have users put it through its paces to see what breaks and what conflicts exist before moving the version to production, you might get better testing if users can work as they do in a production version. To this end, making it easier to migrate "All" the settings and presets that are currently in a user's working production version would go a long way to helping us help you test Beta software. I will continue to open files in Beta where I need to try the Remove Tool and then continue to work in Ps 24 until you make this great tool available in a production version update. Hello I have upgraded to Mac OS 12 to use the new remove tool in PS Beta. I am impressed with the tool for the little I have used it so far. However, I find myself switching back to PS 24.4.1 for everything else. Normally, when installing a new version of Ps, all of my actions, settings and panels come along. This is not the case with the Beta. Is there a primer or help document that might explain how I can get all my expected tools, panels, and set-up into the beta version? Or is the expectation that we use the Beta for the new tools only and then go back to regular Ps for everything else? Thank you in advance.
