Hi @Sven S, scrolling in the preset browser works great in the beta. But it's still slow in the tabs of the export settings (Effects, Video, Audio, etc.)

The scroll speed remains the same, even after several minutes. And it is also slow in a small window size. It's not just happening in the Preset Browser, it's happening in the Queue, in Preset Settings as well. It happens everywhere in the Software.

Hello Sven, i have uploaded a screenrecording on YouTube for you: https://youtu.be/nJ6_dgTJbUY I made single scrolling steps in Media Encoder 22.6.4 compared to single scrolling steps in the current 23.6. This behavior occurs not just in a specific area, it behaves like that in every scrollable area in the current release. I made the update from 23.2 to 23.6 and scrolling through settings is insanely slow now. It's not lagging or any sort of performance issue, it's just super slow to scroll through the settings. I just want to change settings fast and not train my scrolling finger 😄 Please change it back to the original scrolling speed.

Issue: Keyframes get stuck and can't be moved on stretched composition layers with protected regions Adobe After Effects version number: 23.2.1 & 23.1.0 Operating system: Windows 10 Pro (Version 10.0.19044) Steps to reproduce: Make a comp with animated text layers and put a protected region on the animation. Place this comp into another comp and stretch it to make it shorter. Animate the scale property on that composition layer and try to move the keyframes afterwards. Expected result: Keyframes should move to another position in time. Actual result: The Keyframes get stuck and can't be moved (sometimes not immediately). Try to ease them causes the error 27 :: 15 "attempt to get an item address from a position outside of list length".

Hi, we do make a lot of digital out of home content and for these screens we have to use MP4/H.264. Filesize isn't much of a problem because these screens don't stream videos from a web source, they download it onto a small local drive and play from there. The 4:2:0 chroma subsampling for the H.264 codec sometimes causes very visible artifacts in redish colors and we currently need to fix these with noise but of course some clients don't want to have grainy ads.

It would be awesome to choose between different chroma subsampling settings in the H.264 codec. Often I can't solve bending issues in red colored gradients because the default setting is 4:2:0. Changing to 4:2:2 could help a lot and for really good quality outputs I would love to choose 4:4:4. Please make this possible for your render community 🙂

Hi! Is it possible to use automatic hyphenation in After Effets like in Photoshop? I made a paragraph text and After Effects just pushes the overlapping letters into the next line without any sense -.- I can't do the hyphens manually as the text will be loaded dynamically for every rendering. It would be great if someone had a hint for me to get this automatic hyphenation done.

Hi I'm trying to load xml files from a weather api into a composition in After Effects and spread several values from the xmls on several layers in this composition. I'm doing this with a script in the startup script folder, as i want to execute it when After Effects is starting. In After Effects this solution is working pretty well but if i want to render this project through watch folders with the data from the weather api in Media Encoder the renderprocess won't start. So my question is, is it impossible to use startup scripts if i want to render with watch folders in Media Encoder? Or is there something i have to implement into the startup script to make it work? Hopefully someone out there can help me
