Also, it would be super helpful if you could try retireve the log file again by following the instructions above and putting the attached pslogSettings.txt file in the instructed location. Please note that the setting in this file is different from the previously attached version. Thank you.

PS 24.3 does not have this feature. You'd need to install PS Beta 24.4 or PS Beta 24.5 in order to use this tool.

Thank you for the report. Did you mean it worked in version 24.5 initially, but became unstable after a while? We're investigating this issue, but if you are still stuck, could you restart Photoshop and let us know if it works? russellf99068106 Thank you for your feedback. We tried to reproduce the issue you described, but we couldn't do it. So could you please provide more details on how it happened? It would be greatly helpful if you could reproduce the issue on your mac and let us know the steps. Meanwhile, as a workaround to recover the missing presets, you can try to delete ALL the presets and folders that are currently shown in Sky Replacement, so it would look empty after you do that. Then you can close the dialog, and reopen it. All the default sky presets should show up again now. Please let us know if it still does not work for you.

For example, when you clicked on the missing presets in the preview pane as you mentioned, did you get the popup error message "Could not complete your request because the file could not be found"? If so, could you tell us what exactly happened before the presets went missing? It would be super helpful if you could reproduce the issue and let us know how you do it. Meanwhile, as a workaround to recover the default sky presets if missing, you can delete all the presets and groups in the preview pane, close the dialog, and then reopen it. You should see all the default sky presets again. The import tool in Photoshop Sky Replacement only supports .sky files currently, which can be created by selecting presets in the preview pane and exporting them by using the export tool in the Sky Replacement menu. For importing a new sky from any .jpg, .psd, .png or other Photoshop supported files, you can use the "+" button at the bottom of the preview pane.

You can create your own folders and add your own skies to these folders as you like in Sky Replacement, and all your presets and folders with their hierarchy will be saved automatically each time when you close Sky Replacement. Next time when you reopen Sky Replacement, the same hierarchy that was saved should show up. As a backup, you can select all your presets and folders and export them to a .sky file in any location on your disk as you like, and import it anytime you need to. When you import the .sky file, all the exported presets and folders with the original hierarchy would be appended under your current presets and folders.
The problem you described seems to be unrelated to any action. So could you please provide some more details on how this problem happened? For example, was there a crash when Sky Replacement was open?

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on the fix, and it should be available very soon. Meanwhile, you could try the following workaround in order to restore the default sky presets that came with PS 2021:
Delete all the current presets, close out Sky Replacement, and then reopen it. All the default presets should show up.

Sorry for the inconvenience again. Please try the following to restore your default sky presets:
1) Open Sky Replacement, multi-select all the presets and folders, and then delete them. You should see an empty view on the preset panel now. Then close Sky Replacment by clicking "OK".
2) Reopen Sky Replacement. You should see all the default sky presets shown again.
3) If this still does not work, you might have to reset your preferences, and relaunch Photoshop. Then reopen Sky Replacement. You should see all the default sky presets shown again.
Please let us know if this works for you. Meanwhile, we are working on the fix for this issue, and it should be available very soon.

We are now able to reproduce this issue as you reported, and we will be working on the fix as a high priority. Meanwhile, as a workaround, please try to do the following to prevent your presets files from being lost: After you record and play your sky replacement actions and then you have to restart Photoshop, do not directly replay your actions. Instead, open the Sky Replacement dialog and click on any preset, and close it. Then replay your actions. This way your preset files should be safe. Please let us know if you have any question.
