I upgraded my Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Premiere Elements 12 some weeks ago to the 2021 Edition.The old Version 12 is now on my second computer and continues to work perfectly well - in some cases even better than the new version 21! H0ward106 must have a valid key for his products; without a valid key he cannot install Photoshop Elements 12.  If the Upgrade to 21 does really "pay"..?  A real Upgrade of Photoshop Elements 12 or 21 would be the Upgrade to "Adobe Photoshop 21" (Adobe PS); but this  edition is very expensive (+- $ 10/monthly!!) ; you can try it for free 7 days!      ... I did so some weeks ago and it worked perfectly well. You can also upgrade Photoshop Elements alone, without Photoshop Premiere Elements; in this case there is probably no special deal. If you want the best Photoshop, really different from Photoshop Elements 19 or 21, you have to purchase "Adobe Photosop 21", but this Edition is very expensive --+-10$/monthly!! Dear Glenn, could you explain me, how you do this step by step and telling me, what programms I have to use. I do not know what is a "Canvas". I use French and German issues. Aussi je partage entièrement votre opinion que la meilleure solution est celle à laquelle on est habituée. Je pense que la raison, pour laquelle je ne puis copier la photo sur le support, est mon ignorance et mon manque d'expérience. J'ai ouvert les 2 documents sur Photoshop Elements 2021 et apparemment ce logiciel ne permet pas une copie. Pour cette raison, je vous serais très reconnaissant, si vous pouviez m'expliquer exactement, comment je dois faire, quels programmes je dois utiliser (p.ex. "fenêtre flottante", avoir les 2 copies côte à côte...etc je ne sais pas comment faire). Je serais très heureux de pouvoir profiter de votre savoir et de votre expérience. Thanks for your remarks. I do not agree with you:  in my very old "Photoshop Elements 12" the blue frame moves together with the image, in "Photoshop Elements 2021" the blue frame remains still and only the image within this frame moves. It seems just as if the frame would "swallow" the image. If you do then what I proposed, the frame disappears and you can move the image and print it where you want. If I have seen right, in the very new " Adobe Photoshop" (which I am testing, there is no blue frame and the image can be moved without problems. Thanks for your feedback.   ... View more

Then you unactivate "Center image" and leftclick on "more options", here leftclick on the 2nd line left upper-corner, then leftclick on "adapte image to support" or something like that (in German:Auf Mediengrösse skalieren), then OK. Then you see your image without the blue frame and jou can place it where you want, you can turn it to the left or right, with the support or without. When you are done, check if "Center image" is inactivated, then you can print and you will see the image where you placed it. I work with Adobe Elements 21, Win10Home, fully updated, Canon Inkjet Pixma MG7750. May I ask you to try this method and to give me a feedback. If necessary I'll send you screen-shots.
