I recently noticed that on my iPhone version of Lightroom my cloud icon is green. I also seem to have a debug build that allows me to see extra information like heartbeat, generate app diagnostics, and extra status information on photos. Is this supposed to happen? on my iPad and Mac mini this is not the case

Hi I see this thread was modified to say windows only and to start a new thread. This was originally a separate thread but y'all merged it with this thread. Do I have to start a new one all over again or can you unmerge it?

Yes. It's a base Mac mini of the new apple silicon line. It's been fast and very responsive prior to this update. And meets the requirements for Adobe. M1 Mac's only come in 8GB or 16GB at this time.

Okay, I actually was able to get the Adobe crash reporter to appear and just sent a report. Should be under the same email as my account here.

This is still happening. I did install the MacOS 11.6.1 update to make sure I am up to date, but now the adobe crash reporter never shows up to send a crash. It's always the apple crash reporter.

No dialog, just closes Lightroom CC Trying using the me.com domain suffix instead, I think that what was it was sent under. I get both an Adobe reporter and an apple crash report (but never both at the same time, its just either).

I was excited to use the new masking features introduced but it is unusable on Desktop. This dampens any gains from teh ne wfeatures since limits what Lightroom CC can do. Summary Selecting new mask options on Lightroom CC Desktop crashes the app Setup Hardware: Mac Mini M1, 8GB OS: MacOS 11.6 Lightroom CC v5 (Desktop) Repro Steps Open Lightroom CC Select a photo Create a new mask Select "Select Subject" ----> Actual Result: Lightroom closes (crash). Opening up Lightroom prompts to send report to Adobe and no solutions are found. Note: This happens 100% of the time on desktop Lightroom CC. Work around is to do new masks on mobile. However Mobile Lightroom still crashes (I'd say 20% of the time) when selecting this option. Performing workaround on mobile syncs to cloud and displays on desktop. But attempting to edit or create a new mask crashes the app still Please fix this asap. I would revert back to Lightroom CC Desktop v4.4 but then anything I edit on mobile would be unsupported edits and would lose them on desktop since you cann't downgrade on mobile app versions.

Same here. Using desktop and selecting sky causes a crash on my Mac version. Using it on mobile does work but sometimes crashes the mobile app. Adobe needs to fix this asap

I've noticed my Lightroom Library.lrlibrary become huge (almost 140GB) on my Mac. I've deleted this but always come back. So I've opened it up by showing package contents and noticed that the reason why is that it is storing originals, even when I do not have that enabled. Is this a bug? This use to not be the case. I've tried: Uninstall/reinstall Clean uninstall/reinstall Deleting the Lightroom.lrlibrary file One newer thing that is only a temporary workaround is to enable the option to store locals, then change the drive location to an external drive. This will move all locally stored filed, freeing up space. I've then disabled it BUT it still will save originals. How do I know? When you disconnect it from the external drive and load more, it will save locally, even after everything is uploaded to the cloud. When you connect the external drive back and restart Lightroom CC, it will then bring up a message saying it is moving to the external drive. Please fix this issue. Why am I paying for cloud storage when it still is forcing me to save locally.
