Unchecking the Run in AppContainer checkbox worked for me. Thanks Souvik and others. For others, that can be found directly under Edit/Preferences (ctl+K)/Security Enhanced/ and look to top right under Sandbox.

Premiere can still process equirectangular images and video. That's not going to be an image editor for you, but you can use lumetri and other effects to adjust the images. You can add text, animate movement, etc.

Short of any non-adobe app options, you can use Adobe Premeire for 360 images (or video). Works well. Import a 360 photo (or video) into Premiere pro, Drag that 360 photo onto the new sequence button and now you have a static sequence image. But you have a couple more steps to convert from equirectangular into a normal view that you can grab normal photos out of, or edit the image in 360 view. Right click the new sequence and choose sequence settings. Choose the VR properties tab up top of that window. Change the projection settings under vr properties to Equirectangular. Hit Ok. Now in your normal program window you need to make sure the button for "Toggle VR" is one of the icon tools below the program window. If the button is there, (looks like a circle with a rectangle going thru it), click that and your video should now toggle between equirectangular and 360 VR view. If it's not there, choose the plus far to the right and drag that icon into that tool bar area. Remember, you can hover a mouse over any of those icons and it will tell you what the tool is. Now you can move around the 360 view. You can export any frame in view as an image. You can animate moving around that 360 view whether a static image or a video. You could create a whole video off the movement around one 360 static photo. The only real limitation is the width and height of the view once at this point that I know of. Sometimes the field of view isn't as great as you would get from a normal camera shot if exporting frames as images. Might have to do lens corrections if say your chosen area to export a frame image of looks like a fish lens. And some views around the 360 will have a tilted horizon. Maybe someone else knows how to correct for that in Premeire. I usually just correct the image after exporting it using PS. You can edit sequence settings and change pixel dimensions and scale the image. Or you could scale up the equirectangular image before importing into Premiere using PS.

Thanks, Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Version: 25.11.0 20240626.m.2679 509bf35 x64 This beta version appears to be working! Public version 25.9.1 did not appear to have this issue.

Update results after updating beta version to 25.11 m.2679 which was available today. Black suit jacket and tie result on first generative fill request. Offer up all three versions with a black jacket. Of course, it appears to give each option a Peyton Manning length neck but beggers can't be choosers. Three cheers for the team working on this!

I checked my beta version and it was 25.11 M .2675 I'm not sure where to get the long version name. Today I see creative cloud letting me know there is another 25.11 ready for me to update with. So really not sure which 25.11 that will be.

That's interesting, so you tried it and received similar result with the beta where it avoids offering a black suit. I was surprised seeing how quickly I received a black suit result with the 25.9.1 public version. Regarding layers: Yes, I did run subsequent generatives in the same file and it produces a new layer each time I change the prompt. I think I just turn the eye off the first generative layer, reselect the base layer I'm running it on and have it generate another layer if I'm changing the prompt. This seems to keep the original three offerings separate as I try a different prompt. I also may have been turning the visibility eye on or off or randomly selecting layers for the screen captures afterwards. So I can't say I'm certain if the correct layer was selected when I took the screen grabs. Only that I'm sure they came in the order and steps I showed.

Update for comparison, I tried this with generative fill on non-beta PS version 25.9.1 and got a black suit and tie on first attempt. The ties weren't as good, but I did get a black suit and black tie right away from the prompt, black suit and tie.

This "resetting preferences" and warning to save out all actions, brushes, and other customizations you want to keep has now gotten so pervasive that I would like to suggest that maybe a great helpful addon like a single click button option be added for exporting all custom actions, brushes, scripts, etc all at once? Then a similar load option. Maybe it could be right in the file or edit menus? Often I don't want to reset preferences to try and work around something odd because it takes too long to properly export each type and then later load each type. If we could make a single grouped export we could name, then we could more easily utlize this first troubleshooting step more often and save us and troubleshooting help experts a lot of time if it actually helps fix a lot of issues.

Bug feedback or Discussion please is fine. You tell me what the ai tool is trying to tell me here. Simple need today to remove shirt and tie, add black suit and tie. I do this normally with two images. Swap out clothing from one image to another. I will with this need. 5 minutes. But I figure, let's also try the new 25.11.0 beta with what it said was improved generative fill vers.3 with minimal prompt words. starting with: Ok, Prompt 1. Add suit and tie. I didn't specify "black" suit, yet. I guess I figured one of the options would be a black suit. my mistake. (marque drawn around whole image space from neck down) Three images options result: 1. grey striped suit and tie (great if wanted that) 2. white suit and tie (works if wanted white) 3. light grey suit and tie (another fine suit, but I need a black suit) Ok, so it seems like this might work great at this point but I realized I need to add a descriptive word, such as "black" suit to prompt. Prompt 2. Add black suit and tie. Three more options are presented. 4. perfect black suit and tie, but it cuts out or masks out most of the suit! I can' t seem to unmask it. it's not there. Just a random cut out shape of white left. 5. Another would-be usable black suit option. But it crops it out yet again! 6 For the third option, it shows me once again that it can provide a full suit jacket and tie. Just not a black suit! Now I'm starting to think Adobe developers don't like me, or this AI tool doesn't. It offers a White Tux like jacket and bow tie. Looks great if that was what you asked for. Again, I prompted "add black suit and tie" I try one last time to simplify the prompt by removing the word "add". Prompt 3 = black suit and tie 7. Shows a black suit and tie(sort of a tie), only now the option seems to be showing it bursting out of the paper space as a graphic and so shows very little of the suit and tie area. Nobody asked for that, did I? 8. Another black suit and bow/tie, and yet another wild portrait bursting out of the paper graphic effect. Why? Not sure why it only produced two results the third time. Maybe the photoshop gremlins built into the software now went on strike or started to feel bad about messing with my sanity. So, should I ask it for a white suit and tie? That way maybe it will finally give me a full black suit and tie result? Should I add, the words pretty please to the next prompt?

They are still shown and advertised in the Creative Cloud Desktop manager app of all the CC apps. Just shown at the bottom now with buttons that say "request access". I'm guessing that is supposed to be a way for you to easily beg your software manager or IT to order it, if you have someone separate doing such. Under the "available by request" section when choosing to see All Apps while in Creative Cloud Desktop. You see all the apps, then these right below.

Brad, I followed your advice and changed my resolution listed in preferences to 110 ppi. This did correct the rulers for me it appears. I still don't really understand why this is occurring or needed. Neither of my monitors run at 110 ppi. Which is why I was apprehensive in following this suggestion read elsewhere before. However they are different sized monitors. I wonder now if this will impact anything else I'm doing in the future in Acrobat, but at least i can try to trust my acrobat rulers again. Thanks

All PDFs I currently open the rulers will report the wrong measurement. However in the lower left corner the document size is reported correctly at the size I created the file. Also choosing control/command D to see file properties is listing the correct size. But the rulers on in the acrobat interface are off by inches at times. 22x34 document shows as 19.something x 29.something. I read another post, https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/rulers-not-reader-correct-size/m-p/14150035, that is suggesting a solution is to change my PC interface monitor scaling. A suggestion given by one person to change their system to 110% supposedly helped the original poster of the question. Now it is listed as a solution? is it really? Or is it a workaround? I don't plan on changing my 100% PC screen scaling to get Adobe Acrobat to show rulers correctly on the document size it knows the actual size of. Since when has that ever been necessary? I'm certainly not choosing an arbitrary 110% scale of all things on my monitor and pc interface to make acrobat appear correct. I've tried reparing the acrobat install through menu/help/repair installation which was a suggestion from the community. No improvement seen. Does anyone know a real fix for this? Using windows 11, Acrobat pro version 2023.006.20360

This was a ridiculous change. I'm stuck with greyed out create button now as well. I can't fathom what goes on in Adobe meeting rooms to drum up some of these changes to the interface and workflow. I really can't. I can see one person coming up with odd new ideas, but I can't see a second person agreeing this was a great idea to progress with the change.

This is the only option I'm seeing as well. There is no centering option when you see the preview mash it up against top left corner with no margin and it crops the top or side of your print off. The poster option which appears to be more a setup for printing tiled posters on a larger sheet, will work if printing one item smaller then your paper size. Once upon a time you could choose center, top left, whatever. Once upon a time there was auto landscape/portrait. All these things are gone or changed over time when the wrong people end up changing things based on their limited experience in printing. Yes, there are many reasons printers in offices need to be able to handle a job centered on a letter sheet. Anyone claiming the file needs to be created at only standard sizes such as letter or tabloid has never spent enough time working in any real office setting of any real business. My best example is getting a client document that is 80 letter sheets long and smack dab in the middle is one 8x10 map image. An errored print for every Friday afternoon guaranteed. Acrobat loves to confuse printers with that one. Where simple common sense options like 100% actual size and Centered would solve it. But apparently that's impossible to program.

Please excuse my inability this morning to name the missing tool correctly. It is Marque Zoom, arguably the most important zoom tool there is. Once upon a time you could at least traverse the View menu to Show/Hide and then choose to edit tool menus by showing or hiding specific tools. In the list in prior years would also be a Marque Zoom option. That no longer exists under even the view/show-hide. So, now once again the Marque Zoom is a buried option. You can still find it under View/Zoom to select Marquee Zoom i guess. I'll have to live with that I guess.

Adobe is a large reason for UI/UX becoming a real thing. Which then pains me to no end each time I see an Acrobat version update fail harder then previous to offer a zoom tool with any usefulness.
Today, the icon of a magnifying glass at the top of the application in Acrobat is now a dual use tool for a.) finding text within your random documents, and b.) a search field for searching for otherwise impossible to find application tools.
So not only have you failed to provide an application interface with easy to select tools for the many jobs the application does help with, but you have taken that problem and compounded it against ruining another one. The Missing Zoom tool.
There is no end to pdf documents that we need to zoom into the details of. Can application programmers understand that? Can you understand this isn't just about standard letter sized documents? Can you show some foresight into how exactly we are supposed to see the details of a 40 inch sheet without a zoom tool that allows us to pick a spot to zoom into?
Right now, at the bottom right of the newest acrobat version there is two other magnifying glass icons. One with a plus and one with a minus. Hooray, it's not hiding anymore at least. But sadly, they are useless for anything but randomly zooming into any old place it decides to zoom into. They aren't tools you can command with your mouse curser. All you can do is choose plus or minus. Then you might say, grab the space bar "hand" tool and move your view around! I would, but it now seems to take 4 snaps or more of the spacebar to get that hand icon and tool to engage. Apparently the application thinks it is certain that if I'm zooming in that I must want to type letters and create spaces with my spacebar. We have to triple tap or more on that spacebar shortcut to now get the hand icon to appear. Then, the tedious task of swiping endlessly to get over to the far side of the document to the location I wanted to be zoomed into on the 40 inch sheet. Have I told you yet today how much I appreciate knowing Adobe as a company is probably loaded with UI/UX designers?
Please offer a tool that allows us to direct a location to zoom into quickly. Look at how your company did it for Adobe Illustrator for example if you have no others. Maybe buy one of their programmers lunch and ask them how.

They loaded two sets of 4 folders of Boats, leafy trees, fllowers, Wild animals into my shape options folder and deprecated or stashed everything else in either a "2019 shapes" folder, or a "Legacy Default Shapes" folder all hidden underneath another "All Legacy Default Shapes" folder. So I have to drill down that far (see image) to get to things like Arrows. And under "all legacy default shapes" there is a folder called Nature that was always there which would be a great place for Boats, Flowers, Wild Animals, and Leafy Trees. Right next to the "LeafLess Trees" folder that was already there. The best part is in the shapes panels hamburger menu, there is an option for "delete shape" but it is greyed out and neither deletes a shape nor gives us an option to delete the folder. The only thing I can do is take all the Flower folders and next them inside each other and then nest that inside Nature, etc. But then when I need Flowers it's going to be an adventure to go find those under the nested folders!
Three cheers all around for this mess. Today I'm going to go look for a Photoshop replacement that doesn't make my Friday's [cursing removed]. Have a good weekend.

Found another instance where timeremapping breaks. When using cinema footage from newer iphones I had to interpret and conform the video to 709 to stop it from being blown out. But then I go and try to time remap and I have the problem you had here. Click on any other clip that didn't require reinterpretting and time remap works fine, control plus left click gives you the plus pointer icon. But this reinterpreted clip was showing me a different icon. Slide up higher for the fix shown here wasn't working for me. So I exported the interpreted video out as a new clip and brought it back in and now I can time remap it just fine. Leaving this here in case anyone else runs into same, even though it's sort of its own unrelated/related problem.

Thank you Brad. It was the print to image setting in print/advanced panel that was turned on. I didn't remember turning this on for this need in the past but maybe it was just too long ago to remember. However maybe AdobeDC is also just now no longer showing pdfs made this way with fonts/text shown as clearly anymore. In fact as mentioned I tried numerous higher output settings and it never got any better. When I know I've had to do it hundreds of times to export at just a little higher or lower to get good enough quality text/images and filesize. Only now the text was alwayss rough. Maybe they are handling text differently when displaying the fonts saved as image. Not sure. Either way, you were right and pointed me to the right spot immediately. Thanks for your quick insight! The intent was indeed to just make it more difficult for people than just right clicking individual items and save them. In a perfect Adobe world their security on the file would stop that but we've tested and found apps that can still grab them and it centers around the PDF still seeing them as individual images. If you can't select them individually things are much more difficult to pluck out. Bluebeam for instance has a "flatten" feature that is unlike the term Flattening as used in Adobe's world. With one button it flattens the PDF and things like images are no longer easy to pluck out individually, among other things the feature does. It is one "flat" document. Might have to just go back to securing the document and calling that best case scenario. At least the text looks good again.

If you've run into this at all please share your experience, knowledge, workaround, correction. Thanks. I'm printing an existing PDF file back through the DC printer/distiller to create a new PDF of one of the pages that will essentially have a new added image. The result usually ends up as an image that is less selectable and more like mixed content of the page if that makes sense to you. You can't just highight the image anymore and right click and choose Save As on the single image. Anyway, that's the point of doing this. What I've started with is a clean looking PDF document that someone created with Word initially and possibly used either Adobe DC, Bluebeam, or MS converter on their machine to create the PDF from Word. There are logos, text, maybe one image in the source PDF. It's clean looking text. But I add one image to one page and want to print just that page to PDF file, even choosing highest quality job options, and the resulting PDF has text that is much rougher, thicker/darker than I would describe the Light variant of font I saw in original PDF file. Now I can't reinsert that updated page without it looking like someone changed the text fonts only I haven't touched them besides recreating a pdf. Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? This is something I've done for years for small requests from others. Thank you for your time.

I'm getting a weird ornery vibe from reading these responses If we send, for example, an ad pdf to a printshop they may specifiy a required resolution of that single ad image, or of a combined set of images and text laid out as an ad. If pulled together in Indesign we assure high res source images and expect, depending on PDF settings on export, to maintain a certain level ressolution in both images and text. Setting usually differ for images and text. When the print shop excepts PDFs and will just generate CMYK prints from that it's a nice quick transfer and typically has less problems. But if the resolution of multiple items inside the PDF aren't what were designed and expected or are not high enough I can see trouble or confusion resulting. If that is what this person is running into. Not sure why the responses to his questions or confusion are coming across so harsh but they do seem so to me. If you wrote the originaly replies maybe you could reword to help them if bothering to reply, instead of...that

As long winded as I already was I would like to add, that a huge reason I use adobe products is for virtual presentation of our designs and artwork, visualizations in arch/eng and product design. I'm astounded with how much better the Substance3d addition is at all of these things than all the previous offerings Adobe has given us. I see these new offerings under the Adobe flag as where I always expected their applications to one day get to if they started combining some of them. Alas, us Creative Cloud all apps folks are getting left behind once again. Not by outside competition this time but by the very company we've been paying this time. Now they want to call it virtual photography as if it's something different than Adobe Dimension or what we created or hacked together manually with photoshop and illustrator in the past? It was always insane that it was such a chore and hapless result trying to make seamless textures with photoshop. Same for trying to simply paint on a 3d object, or simply navigate around a 3d object in photoshop or Dimension. Very wise move to bring Substance 3d into the fold. Just unwise keeping it separate if you ask me.

They are using Creative Cloud which is installed on all our machines to advertise the new substance 3d products, and give us easy access to the trials. But I'm 100% with you that these should be included for a number of reasons. A. When they moved to subscription plans they combined many of their seperate "collections" and used that combining to sell the idea of this subscription format. Now you got ALL apps, one of the great features you get to make it worth the annual payments. The couple apps they never brought into it, framemaker and captivate were always a strange decision to most inquiring why. But they were always seperate apps, not seperate collections. Both had a very specialized need. B. Adobe has always failed at 3d offerings in the past but not without trying, and therefore getting us to try try try to learn to use their 3d offerings within photoshop and illustrator.. Now they have purchased Substance3d and decided to completely drop 3D from Photoshop. Understandably why, given this substance3d app now in Adobe skinned software is simply amazing. But what has happened now is that our Photoshop and Creative Cloud All Apps package is now a lessor package than what we used to get. And they have taken something that used to be in the Creative Cloud subscription and removed it and made it a separate subscription suite. C. I feel it's just your classic money grab by someone to show increased profits in a board room. But I can just imagine how many people are turned off by this and how this is introducing a reason for a great many of your steadfast customers to start investigating other solutions for what we use Photoshop and Illusstrator and other mainstays of the subscription CC. Why pay for the All Apps when it's no longer the All Apps or even the Best apps from Adobe? Substance Painter for instance is exactly everything 3d in Photoshop always should have been. Frankly, I would rather pay for Substance package and find a replacement for photoshop out there. So maybe I should drop our Creative Cloud All Apps subscriptions, go find a vector drawing app of choice, a photoshop imaging replacement of choice, somehow a replacement for Indesign, and then just pay for the lower price Substance package. I for one never even entertained the idea of leaving Adobe's main package. But now I'm thinking...while I'm watching a Substance 3d webinar and outraged that photoshop was never as good as substance painter. Of course Microsoft's free 3d painter was even better than Photoshop ever was at it. Dimension? More limited software. Toss it all out.
