HI DKT,
Thanks for the question. I appreciate you labeling the post as SDK. It's a bit out of my purview to field this qustion, but I did want to acknowledge and thank you for posting. Hopefully, the product team or the community will respond shortly. Sorry for the frustration.

Hi Joseph,
Thanks for the post. Render and replace with ProRes or ProRes LT should work. When you say Premiere Pro won't attempt it, what happens? H.264 still cannot be consolidated no matter the sequence size. Sorry about that. I hope we can help you.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi,
It is odd that it worked before but now isn't working. Could you check and see if you have enough storage on your phone? That's tripped me up before. I hope the community or I can assist you futher. Be sure to use @Kevin-Monahan in your reply so that I will be notified.

Hi,
Good question. I'm not aware of how to do this on a mobile device, so if it were me, I'd move the clips to a desktop machine for transcoding. You can transcode to H.264. Media Encoder will work. If you don't have it, try using the shareware app, Shutter Encoder. I believe you can transcode the audio only, saving you from losing quality. Let us know if you need help.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi,
This is a user to user forum, so that question probably won't be answered. This is a feature request. You might check Project Violet out if you have an iOS device. It's a new mobile app that has the feature you are looking for.
Notes from the app say, "We've added the ability to apply speed changes and reverse effects to your overlay clips for more dynamic editing." I hope that information helps.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi,
iPhone? Turn off spatial audio in Camera Settings. That is the thing most people are facing. New footage should work. Older footage would need to be transcoded in Handbrake or Shutter Encoder (if you do not have Media Encoder).

Hi,
That can happen if you move the media from one folder to another or from one drive to another. It can also happen with remote storage, like NAS and SANs. Let me know more about your system and workflow and I hope I can help you prevent this from happening in the future.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi,
Naming layers in After Effects can indeed be challenging, especially when dealing with numerous shape layers in complex animations. Here are some strategies to help you streamline the process:
1. Use Descriptive but Concise Names
Avoid overly long names like "chronic inflammation bg shape." Instead, aim for something shorter yet descriptive, such as "InflamBG" or "InflamShape."
Use abbreviations where possible, but ensure they are clear and understandable.
2. Implement a Naming Convention
Prefix: Use a prefix to indicate the type of layer (e.g., "BG" for background, "TXT" for text, "SH" for shape).
Function: Include the function or action (e.g., "PopUp," "FadeOut").
Identifier: Add a unique identifier or number if there are multiple similar layers (e.g., "BGPopUp01").
3. Group Layers
Pre-compose related layers to reduce clutter in your main composition.
Color-code layers to visually differentiate them.
4. Regular Maintenance
Review and rename layers periodically to ensure names remain relevant and clear as your project evolves.
Example Naming Convention
BGPopUp01: Background shape that pops up.
TXTFadeOut02: Text layer that fades out.
SHInflam03: Shape layer related to inflammation.
Practical Tips
Consistency is key. Stick to your naming convention throughout the project.
Simplicity: Keep names as simple as possible while still being descriptive.
By adopting these strategies, you can make your workflow more efficient and your project easier to manage. Do you have any specific types of layers or animations you're struggling with? I'd be happy to help further!
Thanks, Kevin
