Quite frankly I don’t understand what the video is supposed to show.
Could you post screenshots from Procereate to illustrate the kind of brush/effect you want to achieve?

Are you sure you were pressing the alt-key while invoking the menu item?
Edit: I am a Mac user and my Mac-keyboard has two alt-keys, maybe yours are marked »opt«.

It does not. Edit: … if the alt-key is pressed as indicated in my previous post.
Are you thinking of Layer > Flatten Image?

This option isn't in the menu to select it, is it?
Press alt while selecting Layer > Merge Visible from the menu.
Edit: This could be recorded in an Action and assigned another keyborad shortcut.

What do you mean with 'could you post a few samples (in Lores)'? I didn't know Lores and how to use it?
»lores« is just an abbreviation for »low resolution«, in this case to save space and kind of protect the original images.

If you should have the time and inclination to do so please install the current version without uninstalling the old one and try trouble-shooting again, including GPU-related-stuff. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far? Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-trouble-shooting-steps.html https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

Did you store the file locally?
What are the image’s pixel dimensions, Color Mode, bit depth and its current size on disk?
If the size is laughably small compared to what it could reasonably be expected to be then I am afraid the file may have been damaged (on the hardware-side) and your only hope might be a back-up (if you employ any back-up system).

How do you intend to make the stencil?
Manually cut it out of carton/plastic/… or do you have access to a cutter/laser/…?
In the latter case I would assume those will need vector input and Photoshop might not be the best application for the task.

I assume you already restored the Preferences (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved)?

Do you employ any automated back-up system? (If not please try to manually duplicate the files every day until the working copy c…ps out and check if any of back-up copies are affected as well.)
Can others still open the affected files?

If you convert a Smart Object with applied Smart Filters to a Smart Object then obviously those Smart Filters will not be indicated in the (top-level) containing document.
But I am not sure what your actual scenario is.
Is there any chance that you might have applied the Filters desctructively by mistake?

Hi @EEddwwiinn, you can try to use the Match Color feature.
Color Match is destructive, so I would recommend trying to avoid it unless it provides truly superior results in the case in question.
@EEddwwiinn , could you post a few samples (in lores)?

As for the second point:

That does seem mystifying; do you have access to another installation (a previous version or a different computer) where you could save the default shortcuts as a .kys-file?

Please post screenshots (obviously including the Layers Panel and not downsampled) to illustrate what happens as opposed to what you want to happen.
What role do Artboards play in the process to begin with?
Why do you need the Artboard to change dimensions accoring to a placed image (and what if you place more than one image)?

In Adobe Premiere Pro, you can’t directly edit a brush stroke after it’s drawn since it’s not a vector-based program like After Effects.
This is the Photoshop Forum.

It seems you posted screenshots whereas I asked for the actual images themselves.
Anyway, Generative Expand (and Generative Fill) »bleed« into an image to create a plausible transition between the synthetic and the original content – that appears not to be anything new, it was the same in Photoshop 2024.
Could it be that previously edited images of yours just didn’t feature a lot of notworthy details towards the edges?
