Last time the favicons went green (like they are now) the forums went down for a few hours.

Red at the moment... so maybe the stop sign is working?

Looks like John's image is that of a tab in Firefox to me.

I see the favicon as green too. I noticed it happening the other day and as was explained to me by the forum guys, it's in intermittent issue with favicons in general.

This does seem to make a bit of sense as I manage a few different web sites and those too will sometimes not show the favicons.

Cheers... Rick

Rick,

I understand it's likely his Firefox tab, but my tab in Firefox is red, that's why I was asking.

Hi there

The whole tab is red? Or just the favicon? Are you willing to insert a screen capture of yours as John did?

Cheers... Rick

Rick, sure, here you go.

oh, now I see why you asked about the red!  Sorry,  my post was clear to me (in my head!), but sure didn't come out that way in text!  Only the icon was red ... not green as John's was.

Ahhh, makes total sense now! LOL

Yeah, I had a vision in my head that you may have seen something like this:

That would have been a real stumper!

Well the forums didn't go off line (yet) but they got even slower than the usual crawl.

The Favicons went back to that sort of A with the the totally illegible adobe text.  What were they thinking of?
