Just to mention a few important things dealt with in Forum Video Tuturials:

  • The new and immensely improved search features are shown in How to use Search in the Adobe Forums
  • One likely annoyance covered, to avoid emails of different kinds, you will have to use the Edit preferences Action under Your Profile, replacing the default Yes to No. This is shown in How to manage Email Subscriptions in the Adobe Forums (when the damage is done you will have to undo it in the Manage email notifications Action).

Almost as John said 13 hours earlier:

By the way, the forums have changed from AM/PM to 24 hour counting.

I'm still seeing AM/PM, so I think that's a preference item.

That is strange, Peter. I have never changed region (which is set to United States (default)), and the Time Zone is now reset to Pacific Time (strangely enough it was set to Mountain Time). I have always kept the (old) forum defaults.

There are a few glitches with the changeover.

I don't recall a Prefs setting for AM/PM 12/24 hour display. Can you post a screen shot?

Thanks!

The AM/PM or 24 hours clock is Operating System settings not forum settings AFAIK.  The only settings a user can do is the timezone as shown in the picture.
