BUT NOT IN A WORD LIKE TYPOS!!!!!!

Ah, forget it, should have kept my big mouth shut. I don't care if people make mistakes and typos, everybody does, it just set me off when you started correcting other people when your own grasp of the written language is so tenuous.

"What should I du?"

1. Get some help with a grammar refresher course.

2. Post your original problem in short form as your topic title. That will get you the greatest help in the shortest amount of time.

Best,

Ken

Seriously, Phillip, I'd lay off correcting people, at least until you learn the correct use of the apostrophe (clue: it doesn't indicate plural).

In US English in some cases it does (keeping up with the Smiths' or Jones', in some case it's a contraction (it is). in some cases it denote ownership. "Those are Ken's socks (or That is Ken's sock), or Suzzie's Dresses".

In other words it depend s upon what the use is.

Don't post rubbish please!

In fact, why don't you confine yourself to only posting when you have something useful (and correct) to say.

You need to check your facts just as much as you need to check your spelling.

Sometimes I am tempted.

Why do I read that stuff?

I must have inherited something from my mother – she taught Backward classes.

(Yes, that's what they were called in those days.)

Thank you, man,

at first, you are right about language, it is not my first,

at second, for all not answering to the point, thank you too for grammar lesson, and for me, everybody can made a mystake,

and then I have contacted manufacturer online, and I have called them, they helped me.

Just in case someone is  interested, the problem was, that I had turn on function " data code rec " , and if this is on, there is no way to get rid of it in the video, it's permanent.

So thank you all for more, less or no help. Great Spirit bless you. Martin

BZZZZT! Incorrect.

As I said, an apostrophe does not denote plural. The plural of typo is typos.

believe what you may.

See what it says here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostrophe

In the beginning Paragraph it state plainly in some instances can be used for Plurals

Note: contractions such a Do not = Don't, Does not = Doesn't, Is not = Isn't, Can not = Can't, will not = Won't, What is = what's and so   use what appears to be an Apostrophe.

It main use is for denoting a Possessive

Typos is the plural for the noun

Typos' is a possessive plural

And just in case PJ still doesn't get it, the s makes it plural, the apostrophe makes it possessive. Use your grocer's apostrophe all you like PJ (Apple's on sale here) - just don't try and correct other people. Please.

Apple's on sale should be either apples on sale or Apples' on sale

Your example makes it appear that the company Apple is on sale.
