For example a forum page I wanted to look at which I found through a search on google returned this url,
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2217477
but when clicking on the link I am redirected to
I've tried adding /thread/2217477 to the end but it doesn't work. No one can find anything from search engines linking to your forums.
Adobe switched forum software a couple of weeks ago. And this is very much a work in progress. Search engines haven't caught up to new URLs yet. And some info hasn't ported over yet. Stay tuned for further developments...

It could be an old thread or one in the "dead zone" that didn't get carried over to this new forum host.

For the time being, you can view old threads this way from a google search:
click the dropdown from the picture (located at the end of the green line showing the link) and select "Cached".

I used Chrome but it also shows up in Edge. It only shows up for links that may have come up in a previous google search. The Wayback machine has captured some old forum posts:
