追記

画像選択時にレイヤー選択にならないのは自分の環境ではありました。

サンプルは多い方がよいかと思い、結果を記載しますね。

①生成レイヤー使った時の動作について

私の環境でも、生成レイヤー3つ以上の時に外部画像を埋め込み配置すると、埋め込んだ画像の自由変形（拡縮や回転）時にクラッシュが何度か発生しました。必ず落ちるわけではなく、落ちる頻度が高いという感じでした。

※クラッシュ時、Photoshopで使用していたメモリは44%で、他にソフトを起動していなかったため、メモリ不足ということは無いと思います。）

※必要であれば、クラッシュしたときの次の場所にあるログファイルを保存していますので、お知らせください。
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Logs以下の「UXPLogs_（今日の日付）_XXXXX_XXXX.log」のような名前のファイル

②レイヤー選択について
こちらについては、Beta版でも製品版と同じく、グループ内の対象となるレイヤーが選択されました。
