After Effects language problems with expression

Hi, Korean user here

I am a new leaner in after effect and i came across a problem when making a reactive subtitle shape layer

I've followed a tutorial in youtube

and for problem solving, I used the saved file from the tutor

I think the problem lies in the settings I've set, but I can't find the problem

as you see, as i change the text in the text layer, english works well with the expression,

but korean doesn't work and it reads as empty text layer

I think after effects can't read the korean in the expression and i don't know why

I've checked the console to find solution and it doesn't show ApplicationBiligualLanguage

would this be the cause? if it is, what would be the solution?
