I’m resurrecting an old book for reprint from files created in 2000. It included a few Type 1 fonts, which I’ve had to upgrade (creating minor text reflow issues, but generally not bad). But one font, DIN 30640 Std Neutzeit Grotesk Bold Cond.otf seems fine on screen, but renders in a PDF/X-1a:2001 rather fat. Not obviously “faux bold” but just thicker than it should be, and thicker than its screen appearance. Say 15%.The former font this new DIN is replacing is “DIN Condensed Bold.ttf” (©1981, 2002). When I found out about the font issue, I acquired the new DIN font, and chose to disable the old one via Font Book. I see that the macOS placed it in this directory: [drive]>System>Library>Fonts>Supplemental. The new font was installed by Font Book into: [drive]>User>[username]>Library>Fonts.(I’ve never quite understood font & system file locations under OSX, though I get the idea of unix-based user-specific directories.)The old font is not available in Font Book
Hey, can you view the typefaces DIN 2014 Demi and Aktiv Grotesk Hairline on Adobe Fonts.
I subscribe to creative cloud.Once every few months I would find adobe fonts have disappeared. Then I have to run the creative cloud app and do something (which I don't remember) to restore the missing fonts. This is very annoying. Do you all just put up with this?
The Adobe Fonts on Windows is noticeably slow for me compared to macOS.After booting my PC, the Creative Cloud Desktop app can sometimes take 12–25 minutes before Adobe Fonts are fully loaded and available across apps like Premiere Pro and After Effects. It slows me down a lot. But on my MacBook, the exact same fonts appear almost immediately after startup.I dont think it has anything to do with my hardware or internet connection. My setup includes:• 720 Mbps download / 500 Mbps upload• Ryzen 9 5900X• 64GB RAM• RTX 4060 8GB• 2TB NVMe SSDEverything is fully updated, including Creative Cloud and Windows.Feels like the Windows version of the Creative Cloud Desktop app handles Adobe Fonts syncing/background activation much less efficiently than macOS.Would love to see improvements in:• Adobe Fonts sync/loading speed on Windows• startup performance and responsiveness• reliability of background font activationThere's a huge difference between the Windows and macOS workflow experience. Hope t
I am using Skolar Sans PE in a web project, and it appears that the smcp and c2sc OpenType features for the Medium weight (500) were somehow excluded – they both work fine for the Regular (400) and SemiBold (600), but with Medium specifically, I get browser-resized capital letters and full-height lining figures, rather than the actual small-cap letters and numerals. In the version loaded locally through the Creative Cloud desktop app, it works as expected; just not in the webfont. It also works fine in Skolar Sans Latin Medium on the web; just not in Skolar Sans PE. It seems like the OpenType features simply aren’t exported in that particular file. Is there a way to report this to Adobe?
Hey!I currently work on a game and found a really good Font. However, I don´t know if I can use it or not. I want to use the fonts for the UI. They should only appear as buttons (I would use them as Vectorgraphics made in Illustrator) .I already read the FAQ, but I didnt quite understand how those rules are with desktop games
Yesterday I wanted to work on my Honours project. I am currently making a brand style-guide booklet.I have been using the Adobe Creative Cloud services for years, mainly through my university. Yesterday when I tried working on my project in InDesign again like any other morning, a bunch of the fonts that I use came up as missing. I thought that it must’ve been a glitch, restarted InDesign. Same problem. Checked my illustrator files that are in the InDesign document. Same problem.I have been using these fonts for ages, never had a problem. I contacted my university and they said that they haven’t revoked any access of any application - that they know of.I then contacted Adobe who said that apparently, Creative Cloud for Enterprise doesn’t include Adobe Fonts as well as other applications, despite the fact, I was using these exact fonts and services yesterday, the day before, and so on without any problems of the sort. The customer service clerk then said that I should be able to ask my U
We are launching a commercial website using Kepler Std via Adobe Fonts. Can you confirm whether the font will continue to be served if our Creative Cloud subscription expires and whether there are any restrictions on using Kepler Std on a production website for a client brand? According to my knowledge, I can use Kepler Std for commercial use as I have the subscription. Please clarify. Thank You
Lately, the font preview is not showing on the adobe fonts page. Therefore, I can’t choose a font for download, because I can’t see what it looks like. All the fonts look the same.I’ve tried all the troubleshooting, and nothing makes the examples/previews show again.
I’m working on an app which will display PDFs, PowerPoints, and other media that potentially uses Adobe Fonts and which may not embed those fonts. I’d like to bundle some of the more common fonts with my app, to ensure that these documents are displayed as intended by the user. The documents will not be editable in any way, will be completely read-only to comply with the license restrictions, and the fonts will not be installed on the user’s system or used by the app in any other way (for UI, text, etc). Am I correct that the Adobe Fonts license permits this? If not, does Adobe have any API or service which would permit downloading the necessary fonts on-demand?
Olá,Estou tentando utilizar o Adobe Express, mas estou enfrentando um problema. Sempre que tento abrir um projeto existente ou criar um novo, aparece a seguinte mensagem: "Connection interrupted. Adobe Express needs to reconnect to the font service. Refresh this page to continue working." Já atualizei a página diversas vezes, porém o erro continua ocorrendo. Gostaria de saber o que pode estar causando esse problema e como posso resolvê-lo.Agradeço pela ajuda.
The Gotham font family in Adobe Fonts has 64 styles compared to 66 styles at Hoefler&Co. It seems this may be an oversight instead of intentional, but it seems slightly strange. The two styles missing are:Gotham XNarrow Extra LightGotham XNarrow Extra Light Italic I don't see a way to inquire about this through support (I'm told to contact the support person in my organization). You think someone just missed the 2 files to get loaded, or that there is more to this? It would be nice to have access to the whole complete family. https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/gothamhttps://typography.com/fonts/gotham/styles
I want to resync my fonts since they are not being recognized by FontBook.
I would like to use Trajan Pro font in Canva. I subscribe to Photoshop & Lightroom, so can I download a font to my computer? How? Thank you!
The Adobe Fonts loading/sync experience on Windows is way too slow.On my PC, after startup, the Creative Cloud Desktop app can take a very long time to load/sync Adobe Fonts, sometimes to the point where it takes up to 20 minutes just to load the fonts. Meanwhile on my MacBook, fonts appear almost instantly. My internet connection and hardware are not the issue: 720 Mbps download / 500 Mbps upload Ryzen 9 5900X 64GB RAM 3000MHz RTX 4060 8GB 2TB NVMe SSD Everything is fully updated, which makes this feel more related to Creative Cloud Desktop app/font syncing performance on Windows specifically.Would love to see improvements to: Adobe Fonts sync speed on Windows startup responsiveness background font activation reliability The difference between the Windows and macOS experience is very noticeable in professional creative workflows.

We need a definitive way to completely deactivate font auto-syncing. This feature is a time-consuming, productivity-damaging intrusion that disrupts professional, time-sensitive production.Forcing this onto users constitutes an insult to intelligence. How do we kill the auto-sync background processes once and for all?
I have licensed a font called Filmotype Keynote and it is used in my branding. I am trying to upload it to my Creative Cloud but it says that it is not eligible to be added. I contacted Adobe Customer Support and they directed me to this community.
We are having some issues with line-heights regarding Cambria. Even if I manually set the line-height I want and the text is displayed correctly, when you select the text or try to hover it you'll notice issues with the line-height being larger than it is supposed to be. Try selecting the text (tested in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on PC) and you'll see what I mean. Also try to hover the links. Since the browser thinks the line-height is much larger, the area that "triggers" the hover effect is incorrect and you can't access some of the links because of overlap. Here is a simple test page I made:https://devlab.ericj.se/me/_temp/font_test.html
Does anybody know if it is necessary to have a special licence (other than my Adobe Pro licence) to use Adobe Fonts in lettering and title of movies and TV series? Thank you!
Some of my fonts will not sync in Creative Cloud and therefore when I try to use them in Illustrator and other programs it says that they are unavailable even though they are on my computer. I have checked the make sure they are only located in one of the library folders on my mac and they are only in one folder, so they are not duplicated anywhere. They are also all validated and working in all other non-adobe programs. When I click the refresh button it simply cycles around and then goes back to the red dot next to the font name. Can anyone help with this. I would like to avoid using terminal to clear my mac font cache especially considering that Adobe seems to be causing the issue here. I have all app permissions turned on in my systems settings (full disk access and login items and extensions).
Further detail regarding my problem:On my old computer it is indicated that I have 1065 fonts added. However, on my new computer it only shows that 10 fonts are added and I cannot add ANY new fonts as it simply fails to even appear in creative cloud. HOWEVER, although it fails to download or appear on my new computer, the font somehow still appears on my old device’s creative cloud.I have tried troubleshooting:Logging out and back into Creative Cloud Running the Creative Cloud cleaner tool from Adobe and cleaning everything Full uninstall of all Creative Cloud apps, then reinstall Deleted OOBE Cache I am unsure if this may be a cause as this is the only significant difference in the computers: My older computer uses an Intel CPU, specifically 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 - 1200Hand my new computer uses an AMD CPU, specifically AMD Ryzen 7 260 w/ Raedon 780M Graphics This problem has persisted for over three months now.
I want to ask about Al Qalam Quran Majeed font, and about its license whether it is free or not for commercial purposes as nothing is mentioned on the website regarding that, Kindly confirm whether I can use it commercially or not... Without purchasing it as I never found its license on any website... SO CAN I Use it freely on Adobe Stock.... [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
Hello, I’m unable to install adobe fonts in my new MacBookPro M5 2026.So far, I have worked with three different Adobe support representatives, including a senior technician. I gave them full access to my computer, and we tried every troubleshooting step recommended, including:Signing out of Adobe Creative Cloud and signing back in Uninstalling all Adobe applications and reinstalling them Using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to completely remove Adobe software and reinstall it Creating a brand-new user profile on my Mac and testing Adobe there Updating my Mac to the latest software version Completely resetting my computer and setting it up again from scratchNone of these steps fixed the issue. To rule out my computer as the cause, I also tested my Adobe account on an older computer, and I still could not activate or access Adobe Fonts. This confirms that the problem appears to be connected to my Adobe account, not my device. One important detail: I previously had two Adobe account
