I do notice difference with bitrate, i used to have 12mbps as youtube recommended, but when switching to 20 clearly saw better quality on the youtube video. I even try to render in 1440p when i have time since that will get youtube to use a different codec, which is a lot better. I don't do anything with my system when rendering. My SSD is only about half full. I just found it weird that times seemed to increase, when i didn't change anything about the video's or settings. That's why i was curious with a system like mine, if these are normal render times. 🙂

I'm new to editing, but recently i've seen that my render/export times have increased, although i didn't change any settings. It used to take about the same time to export a video as the video was long. Now it takes 30 minutes to export a 15 minute video (In Full HD 1080p 60). My PC: Ryzen 7 1800x, 16GB 3000mhz RAM, GTX 1070 TI, Samsung 850 Evo SSD. Are these normal times? If so, what can i change about my PC to make it noticeably faster? These are my settings (maybe they are wrong?) I upload the video to Youtube afterwards.

Alright, well it works a bit better now on 2 minutes, still not great though. I'll try to remember to manually save, thanks for the ctrl + S tip, a lot easier.

I tried it all, and it does work like you said, it did auto save both times. and not the third time when i didnt change anything. It's weird though that when i'm working on a project, it normally doesn't do this, or way less often, it was set to 5 minutes before this, but i can see on the last project i worked on it only did it twice in 30 minutes. while i was actively working on it. Is it important to manually save before i start a project? because i normally don't do that.

Sorry for the late answer.. I'm not sure what you mean with dot version? i use Premier Pro CC 2018 at the moment. they get saved at the same location as the project, which is user/*****/documents/adobe/premiere pro/12.0 There are auto save files in there. but for instance, with the last project i worked on it for 30 minutes, with auto save set to every 5 minutes. Yet it only auto saved once..

I've put the auto save feature on Premiere Pro CC on save every 5 minutes. However i just worked on a 30 minute project, but it didn't save once? Why is this? It sometimes saves randomly, but during this full 30 minutes it didn't happen once..

Alright, my reason for this was because i use this clip every day, and get tired of having to remove the video part every time. but i guess it is how it is. It is important, because i put it all over another video/audio source. because i want to mix the audio with that, But the video shouldn't cover the other source! that's why i have to remove the video part every time ( except for the 2nd bit of the video, since that comes after the other source )

Maybe i miss understand, but i want it "as is" , the first project is fine, that's exactly how i want it. i just can't seem to get it that way in to another project. so, yes, i want both audio and video. but i only want the video, where there is actual footage, not the video part that i cut out.

Hello, i'm trying to figure something out here. As you can see in this image: The first part is only audio, no video. that is what i want. Now what i'm trying to figure out, if i want to use this file you see above, in another project, how do i get it, so that i have it the same way? Because if i try to import either the exported file, or the project, it automatically adds a video part to it as well. It is a hassle to have to un-link and remove the video every time. Is there a way to import it the exact way you see it displayed above? here you can see how it shows up after importing it somewhere else: Again, i only want it as displayed in the first image, but it shows up as the 2nd one. i hope i'm making sense, and someone can help me!

What is the actual effect of combining PAL and NTSC? cause right now, i have been using it for months, and everything is going fine, i think. problem is, i want to upload in 60 fps, but cameras in Europe don't support that frame rate. so it has to be different. i am indeed recording in CBR!

i'm not sure if this is the right place for this, if it's not, please direct me to the right place. I upload videos to YouTube on a daily basis, i record using Bandicam + a Sony HDR-CX405 camera, and edit using Premiere Pro. These are my Bandicam settings: (Full size being 1080P) And i record my camera in 1080p50 After this, i go to Premiere Pro CC to edit, i add everything, and i use it to export: after this step, i upload straight to YouTube. Now, my question is. Is this the best way to do it? I want the best quality i can get. and as i said, it's going to be uploaded to YouTube. i'm a bit of a noob still in all this, so forgive me. but should i use premiere pro to do all this. or should i use media encoder, or similar? am i skipping a step, or is everything all right. are these the best settings i can get, or is there something that will make any noticeable difference? in case needed, my PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Nvidia GTX 1070 TI 16GB DDR4 RAM SSD ( for everything ) Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

well there is a settings for it. But it means uploading in 50 fps instead. which isn't as good as 60.. but maybe thats just the downside of living in europe..

ohh and i'm actually in Europe aswell. But i record in 60fps. even though my camera itself is 50 (PAL). it still works somehow. probably cause it's only a small image in the video?

a target of 40?! are you sure? this help page: Google Groups says use 12mpbs for SDR and 15mbps for HDR 1080p 60fps.. you think it will work with higher than that? i used to have 10mbps before.

on the youtube page about it. it says target rate of 12mbps is good. but it doesnt say a maximum. i'm not sure. is 2 way VBR helpful? i know it really increases the waiting time for rendering.. before it was 2x the time of the video for rendering time. now it's about 5-6x the video length. anyone already knows the ideal for Youtube? not just on bitrate. but on everything.

okay. so i do let's plays. i record the games with Bandicam, in AVI (Jpeg, PCM mode) . and i use premiere for editing. i record in 1080P 60FPS Now what settings should i use for rendering? currently i have it on this: Now i noticed bad quality after uploading. like worse colors, and lot lower clarity. In the pic i already put the bitrate higher, ( it used to be target 10, and max of 12) and changed VBR 1 way to 2 way. What is the best settings for youtube, that gives me the highest quality? should i render on AVI instead? since my original file is AVI. or is h.264/mp4 better?

well i dont know how to check this. Media info doesnt actually say "constant frame rate" just that the frame rate is 60.000 FPS. most likely because i record with Motion Jpeg. since this was according to Bandicam the only option.
