Had problems with Adobe FrameMaker 7, then 11 for many years now. Each time I start dragging the cursor over a series of paragraphs, or holding the mouse button while selecting tracts too long, it stops responding. I put it down to incompatibility with Windows XP as per Troubleshoot system errors and freezes in FrameMaker 9 (Windows XP) . I also thought it could be my laptop or a corrupted file so installed FM time and again. Two weeks ago, I upgraded my laptop to the latest Dell Precision 16 which came loaded with Windows 10. I also upgraded to Adobe FrameMaker 15. And voila.... THE SAME PROBLEM! Adobe FM15 also STOPS RESPONDING even with all these brand new investments. Watching the ever-turning wheel go round and round is very frustrating!!!! I was about to refer FrameMaker to other colleagues but this puts a stop to that unless maybe someone out there can provide a solution. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear that you guys have been experiencing this problem for some time now. My panels (e.g. Book panel, Paragraph Styles, Character Styles Panels in INDESIGN CC2014 have now just disappeared. Hope we can get some advice from Adobe about what to do to make them appear again. I have rebooted, restarted InDesign but same problem ... no items appearing inside the panels.

Dear Vikram I have presenter 9 but it has not installed properly so have just decided to work with Captivate 7. Am presently delivering webinars so cannot afford to work on a Presenter solution but nevertheless once I am done on Friday, I will turn my laptop over to our IT department who will then proceed to follow the links you mentioned in your email. 14AUG Hi there I am also having problems with Adobe Presenter 9. It refused to work with Powerpoint 2013 so we reinstalled Powerpoint 2010 (32bit) which worked after right clicking on Run as Administrator. But then Video Record feature refuses to work and I get the same error message (as the one you showed above). I then tried to launch Video Creator standalone from the Start menu but it gives me another error message: "Adobe-Pr-VC.exe - Application error. The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." Hope you can help find a way to diagnose the problems and resolve this issue. Tks Cris

I uploaded a 37-page SWF file that was created using InDesign to Adobe Connect Pro but when I click on the URL, I can see the file and animation without any sound. Moreover, the embedded video (F4V) created using Captivate refuses to play. When I tested this on my PC using the internet browser, the whole ensemble played perfectly. So I am not sure why the sound and video refuses to play now that the SWF file has been uploaded to Connect Pro. Should the resource files also be uploaded to Connect Pro so the sound and video will play while viewing the SWF? But then Connect Pro only uploads one content file at a time. Hope someone can help. Disappointed
