How to get rid of extra white space in svg export - Illustrator

I'm trying to export a logo as an .SVG for my website but the export keeps adding extra white space for no apparent reason.  I’ve already tried Object > Artboards > Fit to Selected Art. - The artboard kisses the edges of the logo perf

illustratorで印刷媒体を作成してたが、次の日にaiを開いたら、レイヤーが統合されており、画像だけになっていた。リンクパネルには「画像はこちら」となっていて、ファイル形式はNA（埋め込みファイル）となっています。実はこの現象は２回目で、PCに問題があるのか、illustratorの設定に問題があるのか分からないでいます。もしお分かりの方がいたら教えてほしいです。
