Using the Community

o.k. I’ve received several responses from (2) different Adobe Acrobat Community forum moderator to the above post, namely (2) contradictory answers and one accusing me of attacking them without providing an answer on both replies. All considered, I’ve elected to post the details to the question again hoping to receive an answer the same as the first moderator or an ‘I don’t Have an answer’. Thank you ahead of time. Here are the details once again:I'm an experienced Adobe Acrobat JavaScript developer interested in sharing practical technical tips and solutions with other Acrobat users. However, the Acrobat Community's Create Post feature appears to provide only an Ask a Question option, while the information I’ve found online states otherwise, stating the forum allows posts as questions, tips, and sharing information. Is there a way for ordinary community members to publish standalone technical tips or informational discussions without submitting them as questions?

Hi all  I'm trying to login to adobe community. But each time I pad in this restricted view page. After some Google, as far as well could see the posts. It looked  like I'm blocked coed or banned. I've checked my email and never received any messages related to this. This is my regular profilehttps://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/11060664 Does any one know if this can be lifted? I find it awkward, that we don't receive a notice for this. Possibly, I would want to adjust any wrong doing I perhaps did. I'm not even sure why I was blocked. I've tried deleting cache and cookies. Still happens after that.

Hi,My initial username here was @laden.m, but at some point in 2025 it was automatically changed to @Charismatic_yogiB82A.I didn’t choose that name and would like to change it. I tried to change it in my profile, in the custom.nickname field, but it didn’t work.Could you please help me?

My use of forum was banned on May 2026. Ban was removed in Oct 2026. That mean after 6 month ban was removed. Now it works fine. I wish to know the specific reason for ban on usage of forum. I had a chat with adobe they gave me term & condition but I am unable to find specific reason. You people may have experience with this. What was the reason it could be? You see if I know the specific reason only I can avoid doing same mistake again.

I made a post yesterday asking about Lightroom Classic. I submitted it and it came back with a yellow bar saying it was being submitted for moderation. After that, I have seen nothing. I can’t even see if my post attempt still exists. My post was pointed and not complimentary, but was not nasty nor did it have swearing. So, when do we know?

I am unable to use the translate feature, expand replies, or highlight a reply on any of the Adobe forums. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I want to create a mask, just like you always used to be able to do under opacity in effects controls. However that option has vanished. There’s the stupid object mask tool and I can hold select it to get the  “rectangle mask tool.” This lets me select an area, presumably to mask it. A red overlay appears, this overlay’s color can be changed and I can select the “none” option. HOWEVER what the MASK DOES NOT DO is make the contents in or outside of the mask disappear. You know, the one and sole function of a mask. Maybe I am blind and don’t see it but I want my selection to ACTUALLY DISAPPEAR like a mask is SUPPOSED TO DO. How do you do this and why did premiere make such a stupid update turning something that used to be painfully simple into a three ring circus performance?

Hello,I have replied to two discussions in the Stock Contributors community, but neither reply appears, even after several hours. I tried submitting my replies again, but they still do not show up.Could a community moderator please check whether my replies have been caught by the spam filter or are awaiting moderation?Thank you for your help.

Hello,I have a post (I am a beginner, please help me) and cannot reply to anyone on it.All my answers disappear. Many people have asked me questions, but I cannot answer them.I cannot do anything. Why? What should I do?Please help me

support told me to post a question to the forum. How do I do that?

The new user interface for the Adobe forums (on the Gainsight platform) is even worse than the old Khoros platform. The interface is determined not to show you information, collapsing nested replies, showing you just seven lines of the reply you're composing, showing top-level replies in newest-first order, and providing no page index for accessing long threads. To ameliorate these inanities, I wrote a free browser userscript that automatically expands nested replies, expands the input box of new replies to fill the window, changes the initial reply ordering to oldest first, and shows up to 30 top-level replies at once.  To install the script: 1. Install the free, widely used Tampermonkey browser extension. 2. Visit the script's page and click Install:https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/564953-automatically-expand-replies-in-adobe-forums/ * * *I've tested this mostly in Chrome on Mac, with cursory testing with Firefox and Safari on Mac and Safari on Iphone, but Tampermonkey is also avail

Got an email today, at my Gmail, welcoming me to the “Community” with a username I would not choose for my self. I didn’t sign up for this. How did I get on here? If I back out and get to the regular Adobe site, there I am, real name, my email and all that with this “community” username show as well.I didn’t sign up for this “Community” thing and I certainly didn’t choose that user name.

When I attempt to create a new bug report, I get the page asking for a title. Then I’m shown a few unrelated existing posts Adobe thinks might be relevant. When I proceed from there, however, I just land on a blank page with only the Adobe Community website header & footer. This happens in Firefox, Edge, and DuckDuckGo browsers, with all ad/tracker/script-blockers disabled. On Firefox, a “powered by Gainsight” logo briefly flashes before disappearing on the blank page. I searched the web for solutions but found nothing. I’m only asking here because for some reason this “ask a question” form seems to work.

I am trying to change my name from this randomized username to something customized but I don’t see an option in My Profile settings to change it. I can change my profile icon but that’s it. Where do I go to change my profile name? I also tried changing it on my main Adobe account profile settings for the “Adobe screen name” which doesn’t appear to be connected to this community site.
