Using the Community

There are two ways to reply to a post in the forum software. These are illustrated below, and they do different things. The designers of the forum software knew that they do different things, but never informed the used by indicating what the difference is in the user interface. They never told the user that the two different methods do different things. And so, often users select the wrong reply method, and this causes a lot of replies to wind up “un-threaded” and at the top of the post, just under the original post. This makes following the discussions in some chronological order nearly impossible. It has taken me 8 months or more since the new forum was created to figure this out, and I’m sure most users have not figured this out, making many threads nearly impossible to read in a meaningful order.Example 1: from the thread Selecting the reply shown in the screen capture puts the post at the top of the thread right underneath the original question. I am trying to create a sheet of faux postage (a/k/a postoids). Each row of stamps will feature a different image (which I am doing using Smart Objects). Currently there are two sets of text on each stamp; I’d like to make three eventually. The text will be the same across the entire sheet of stamps. It will change from time to time. In the attached example, it says Holiday Post, and 45 cents. I would like to be able to change that to, say, Autumn Post, and $1.  What is the simplest way I can set this up so that when I change the text on one stamp, it will change on all the stamps? I’ve been trying different ways and haven’t come up with anything that really works yet. Open to suggestions! I’ve just started to use Smart Objects (thought I should mention that). Thank you!  

Under my Adobe account, I have 2 Behance profiles. I think one was an earlier portfolio draft, still not sure how I got two. Anyway, one has my good portfolio but says i need to upgrade to Pro. The other profile is useless and can be deleted but it has my Pro membership. Somehow, my Pro membership moved from my good portfolio to the useless one. I've spent all day trying to figure out how to keep my good portfolio and move my Pro membership. Any suggestions? My only other option is just delete my uselss Behance profile and sign up again for Pro under my good portfolio. Any other ideas?

I am opening a pdf and the files and bookmarks always appear on the top in detailed view. I’ve tried changing the portfolio settings initial view to left which works, but restarting the PDF does not seem to save the settings.When opening this on another computer on the same server, the pdf opens normally and shows the files on the left. It’s just one computer, so I was thinking it had to do with preferences but cannot find this setting. I was wondering if there is something to fix this? 

I am trying to cut this image with the grid tool and divide it evenly. It is a png but I do not know how to vectorize something like this. Is there a tool in Ai or the suite that can cut this up? Thank you.

I’m currently working on a big project that I’ve nearly finished. I’ve come back to re watch the whole video to make sure everything is okay only to find out that audio from certain parts of certain clips have just disappeared. the video is still fine, but the audio is just gone and the voice just suddenly stops, it was there before and is still there on the video outside of premiere pro, so I’m not sure why this is happening.It actually baffles me a billion dollar company cares so little about its subscribers that they cant even make a reliable product, how do they manage to <deleted-kglad> break something new or bring in a new bug every update?Does anybody know a fix to this?  

My recommended presets are not showing. My premium presets are fine. When I press recommended, all of the options come up blank eg  'warm, cool, dark, cinematic' etc. I have uploaded a screenshot. I have today, reinstalled the app,  which by my mistake made me lose all of my own presets. I am upto date with an updates,including my phones updates. I am all signed in correctly. This is on lightroom mobile. Any help appreciated please, thank you  

I have a large, nested, hierarchical keyword structure in Bridge that I have built over the last few decades and find very beneficial and don’t want to flatten it, which I read somewhere might solve my problem. I have “Write hierarchical keywords” turned off in preferences, but Bridge still writes the whole path into keywords nonetheless, using a vertical bar separating the levels of the path. One of my stock agencies will not accept images with these vertical bars and the many duplicate keywords thus in the keyword list. As a workaround in the past I have imported the images into Lightroom Classic and then exported them and it has remove all of the path level extra keywords and the vertical bars. But yesterday with I was doing this with a batch of 500 images, it started did this, but also erased all of the metadata, including keywords, in half the images. Does anyone have a suggestions how to fix this problem? I am running Windows 11 Pro on high end custom built desktop.Thanks!

So i’m having the same problem as this person. i’ve tried the solutions that were suggested but none of my endlessly syncing documents are showing up in my creative cloud on my desktop browser. I’m not sure what else to try. It might be that my cloud storage is full but im not sure. i believe i have the same ipad as the woman n the other post if that matters.

Doesn’t Adobe have chat support anymore? I can’t find one anywhere on the website, just written articles.
