unwanted change of user name? Help!

Hi,

My initial username here was @laden.m, but at some point in 2025 it was automatically changed to @Charismatic_yogiB82A.

I didn’t choose that name and would like to change it. I tried to change it in my profile, in the custom.nickname field, but it didn’t work.

Could you please help me?

the new name is mladen.penev and yes it is shown in both Adobe Account and Comunity accounts as screen name and custom nickname.

then i don’t know anything else you can do other than ask adobe support why your adobe screenname (shown in my screenshot) is not propagating to the forums. maybe it just takes time, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

if you can report your results (even if disappointing) here, it would help others that are currently reporting the same problem.

to contact support, use the chat feature at the https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html ‘s lower right and type agent.

you can try using your account ( https://account.adobe.com ) to change your user name but some others have posted about a problem with this change appearing in the forums.

yes, i fownd the false nickname there and change it. But the wrong name still appears i nthe community.

if you’re using a pc or mac computer, as a test, try using a mobile phone's updated non-opera browser with wifi disabled to sign int the adobe forums and see if your forum name is changed when using that device.
