Thanks Trevor! I have understood now that rotating and warping lead to some degree of quality loss. But using Free Transform just to drag an object/subject to a new position does not lower the quality at all? Sorry for repeating the question again, but I wanna be 100% sure..

Thanks for your answer. Are you sure that there is not even a slight loss of quality? I have read that using the Free Transform Tool to rotate an object (for example) could result in a quality loss...

Dear all I just copied a layer (with a person in it) into another photoshop PSD file (with a background), but the pasted picture was not in the right position. So I used Free Transform in order to drag the person to the correct position. I did not resize the picture (just dragged it)! Does this lower the quality?
