Photoshop

I have the latest version of Photoshop,  27.6.0. However I just got a pop up window on my Mac saying“Support Ending for Intel--based Apps. This version of “Photoshop 2026” will not open in a future release of macOS. Learn how to update to an Apple Silicon version.”  But this latest version of Photoshop is the silicon version (and has been since version 22 or so).  What is going on? A Mac bug?

I'm having a problem with several filters in Photoshop 2026. My document is set to RGB Color, 8 Bits/Channel, so it meets the requirements for these filters to work.The filters are not grayed out or disabled in the Filter menu. They are available and can be selected, but when I click them, their dialog boxes simply do not appear.For example:• Smart Blur: the dialog box does not open.• Radial Blur: the dialog box does not open.• Median: the dialog box does not appear, and the filter is immediately applied to the image at what seems to be maximum intensity.• Distort filters: none of the ones I've tried display their dialog boxes, so I cannot adjust their settings.I also have plenty of free scratch disk space, approximately 300 GB.The main issue seems to be that Photoshop recognizes these filters as available, but is either skipping or failing to display their configuration dialogs.What could cause filter dialog boxes to stop appearing even though the filters themselves are enabled? Here are the details to reproduce the issue:Steps to Reproduce: Create or open a CMYK document in Photoshop on macOS. Define a custom CMYK color swatch (e.g., using pure channel values like C0 M8 Y100 K0) and save it to the Swatches panel. Verify the swatch: The Info panel and the color applied to the artwork maintain the correct, original values. Trigger a break in continuity using either of the following actions: Scenario A (Restart): Close Photoshop completely and reopen the application. Scenario B (Export): Export the Swatches panel to an .ase or .aco file, and then re-import that same file back into Photoshop. Expected Behavior:The swatch should retain its exact, unaltered CMYK numerical values across application restarts and file exports/imports, exactly as it behaves on Windows.Actual Behavior: Upon Restart: The stored swatches in the panel automatically alter their values due to an unintended forced conversion to RGB. The bounding box of the transform tool is in the wrong location and not properly scaled when used on warped text. It does snap back to correct scale and location when a corner of it is selected but reverts once the transform is deselected again.Photoshop version is 27.5Off center and wrong scale bounding box on warped text 

I’ve already installed Photoshop 2026 and reinstalled it. I click “open” and nothing happens. Then I'm only given the option to use it in my browser. Program was working fin before the update. I have a Mac with a Radeon Pro 575 4GB graphic processor.4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor32 GB of memoryand 2 TB of storage with 1.5 still available.Running the latest macOS Ventura Version 13.7.8 I use this program everyday for my business, help is appreciated! 

Hi,I’ve been having an issue in Photoshop where the adjustments tab periodically becomes greyed out, making it impossible to add an adjustment layer by clicking on the the appropriate type. Restarting Photoshop resolves the issue temporarily. I’ve tried a number of troubleshooting steps including trashing and rebuilding preferences and reinstalling the application but nothing has resolved it. Photoshop 27.5.0. MacBook Pro M3, MacOS 26.4.1. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated. 

Converting RGB to CMYK using Image - Mode - CMYK Color makes the image look cloudy in Preview (on a Mac), yet it still looks fine when viewed in Photoshop. Is there another way to convert an image for printing, or if I leave it as RGB, will it print OK when sent to be printed commercially? 

Environment: OS: Windows 11 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Photoshop Version: 27.10 Driver: NVIDIA Studio Driver Issue Description: Immediately after updating to Photoshop v27.10, severe UI and canvas rendering issues began occurring during normal editing. The symptoms include: Rapid flickering where UI elements and the canvas temporarily disappear and instantly reappear (no black or white flashes). When navigating menus (e.g., Preferences), the text briefly vanishes and comes back. While editing, the active photo disappears from the canvas and instantly reappears. The flickering happens extremely fast, rendering the application completely unusable for daily work. This issue is isolated to Photoshop and does not occur in other applications. Generative Fill / Expand does not work in Photoshop 27.10.0. Generative Fill either fails with an error or remains stuck on “Generating…” indefinitely.The exact same computer, Adobe account, network connection and files work correctly when using the previous Photoshop version.I tested Firefly Fill & Expand, Firefly Image 1 and Firefly Image 5. All of them fail or remain stuck in Photoshop 27.10.0.Adobe Firefly in the browser works correctly.After reverting to the previous Photoshop version, Generative Fill / Expand immediately works again.This strongly suggests a regression in Photoshop 27.10.0 rather than an account, network or document issue.

Anyone successful installing and using Dr Brown's Image Processor Pro on Mac M4 silicon, Sequoia in Photoshop 26.3?

I’ve lost the "Apply" checkmark in the Photoshop options bar if I use the remove tool; instead, I now have a semicolon icon.Lost it in the PS version 27.10 and also in the Beta version 27.11To apply a remove I have to use the contextuel taskbar.I already reseted all tools and restarted the option bar.Is this how the option bar should look or is it a bug in my versions?Would apreciate some help with this 

I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on this…My environment: Mac Mini M4 Pro, 48GB RAM. OS Sequoia. Photoshop 2026 fresh install.I’m trying to install ON1 Effects 2025 but when I invoke it from the filter menu the ON1 environment launches only partially, mostly shades of dark grey. Then a progress window briefly shows up, above it it says “Downloading assets” and below it it says it’s updating something I think. Then the whole ON1 window crashes. I was doing some headshots in the studio, and some of the images had a little glare in the subjects glasses.  I know there are better ways to fix the problems, but I was curious how AI might help.   I know very little about AI, so it was a good experiment.  I used Firefly 5 as my model.After a little tweaking of the prompt, I was able to generate a photo realistic solution to the glare problem.  My prompt was “remove reflection in the glasses without changing details in the face or eyes, do not remove the glasses, preserve details in skin and eyelashes”So I opened the next image, almost identical to the first, made the same selection around the one lens of her glasses, copy and pasted the exact same prompt and got mediocre results.  Not nearly as good as the first.  But almost looked right.The third image almost identical image, made the same selection, applied the prompt and the result was far from photo realistic, it was cartoonish like art illustration.I’m sure it’s something wrong

Im Anfang lies sich Photoshop nicht mehr öffnen. Nach den letzten Updates (Windows und Photoshop) lässt sich Photoshop öffnen, meldet aber beim Öffnen von Bilddateien einen Programmfehler.Da keine genaue Fehlermeldung existiert kann ich auch nicht sagen, ob Windows oder Photoshop  den Fehler generiert. Ich nutze die neueste Windows 11 Pro Version mit allen aktuellen Patches und Photoshop 27.10.0 

Adding to this, since this community forum won’t allow me to post a new bug issue. We are having exporting issues for both jpeg and pngs.When exporting jpegs, the box with additional information is not populating and to initiate the export, we’ve discovered we have to manually hit the ‘enter’ button. They are randomly not following the color mode set within the file, too.When exporting pngs, we are having issues with what should be a transparent png including a white background. These are basic functionalities that should not have issues.
