On a Mac with M1 processor. Recent update of PS will not open photos that are transfer from most recent version of lightroom classic.  “Edit in PS” opens PS to a white screen not a work screen.  No photo.  I have open with bridge26.  after saving it saves to the correct directory and is visible in Bridge26. Unfortunately, it has to be manually inputted into LG

I have tried bypassing plug-ins by holding the shift key down when attempting to launch. I have also restarted my Mac in between the multiple uninstalls and new installs of Photoshop. Everything was fine until I upgraded to 27.1. Please help, I’m desperate to finish multiple projects for eager clients.

I was working as usual for a couple of hours until I saw that there was a Photoshop update. I updated it and continued working, but immediately after the update, I started noticing the program flickering—sometimes it’s black, other times white. It happens constantly and only in Photoshop, so it’s pretty obvious that it’s a bug in the update.

Toolbar< Filter< Distort. Distort tool is not working, it is grey from around 1 month. I am using an updated version of photoshop, latest computer configuration. Please resolve the issue as I need it urgently.

When I click on “Open in Photoshop 2026...”, Photoshop opens, but doesn’t open the Lightroom edited image. I confirmed “Full Disk Access” permissions in System Settings.I uninstalled both programs and reinstalled. I reverted back to Photoshop 27.9.1 and the issue went away. 

Brightness and Contrast have disappeared from the adjustment layer button.Version: 27.10  

Photoshop 27.10.0 on MacOS - there is no Brightness/Contrast layer available. Bug or feature? 

In the latest version of Photoshop 27.10.0, I've encountered the following issues compared to the previous version:1. The Remove tool no longer has a button to perform removals when "Remove at Every Stroke" is disabled.2. Likewise, it's no longer possible to perform removals found by the "Find Distractions" tool.3. The "Send Feedback" button no longer appears.4. The "Sky Replacement" tool no longer allows you to adjust the brightness of the sky.

Note: I am working on an Imac Intel 2020, Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.9. with 32GB RAM. I am working in Photoshop v 27.9.1. Have had NO problems running Photoshop……….until NOW! Attempted to use Spin Blur  (Filter > Blur Gallery > Spin Blur). Check “Spin Blur”. NOTHING APPEARS!  In control panel Tabs underneath show:  Effects - Motion Effects - Noise.  (A) When selecting “Effects”, there is the following message: “Available for only Field Blur”   (B) Selecting “Motion Effect”, shows message: “Available only for Path Blue and Spin Blure”.  (C) Selecting “Noise”/Gaussian produces no effect. At no time, under any circumstances does the Spin Blur ‘Control wheel’ (not sure WHAT Adobe calls this gizmo) appear. Things I tried and/or considered:  (1) - Reset Blur Gallery - NO help!   (2) - 8-bit vs 16-bit - NO help!  (3) Smart Object (Layer) vs Raster (Layer) - NO help!  Closed PS and re-launched - NO help!  (4) - UN-checked “Use Graphic Processor” - NO help! I am at my wits end!!! “””SOMETHING””

Today’s update to Photoshop V27.10 still leaves the On Device remove tool unusable on Windows 11 with an RTX 5080 with 16GB VRAM and using the latest driver. Version 29.0 worked perfectly and quickly months ago, but since updating to the current version, the tool fails. It stalls for minutes, forcing the CPU to handle object removal instead of using the GPU. Subsequent removals have the same long delays. Happens on both my workstation and laptop (RTX 4090) Switching to Cloud-based processing works, but what happens when using Photoshop somewhere without Wi-Fi or hotspot access?  The same issue applies to the current Beta version to which I have reinstalled Beta 29.0 on my laptop to be able to use the On Device remove tool in isolated signal areas.

Filter layer: Like an adjustment layer but it uses a mask to apply a selected filter to any number of layers below the Filter Layer while keeping the filter parameters adjustable. Premiere can do this by making a shape an adjustment layer and applying a filter to it. Good for frosted glass boxes for titles with gaussian or zooming in to an area with transform effect.

As i scroll down on font types, photoshop stopped and shut down.

The "Export As" window is glitching, which sometimes makes it go behind Photoshop. Additionally, its size does not stay adjusted as usual and it is always smaller. I have to resize it every time I open the program and use the "Export As" function.Another problem is that the file preview is pixelated, which does not happen in the regular version. This started in this last beta update; it didn't have this problem before. Furthermore, the image only looks good if I set the zoom to 100%. However, I cannot see the full image with good quality like before because it goes past the borders. I have to keep moving it to see the corners that do not show up. Image from Photoshop version 27.9 Previous version 27.8 is perfectly normal and trouble-free.Image from Photoshop version 27.8I reported this bug in the Beta version, and even so, they updated the definitive version with the exact same error that many people were complaining about. Hi,Expanding the image while using the Crop Tool (the color in this case, about a solid gray) using Content Aware Fill - makes wrong color, in my case after expanding a lighter frame at the previous image edge borders and a lighter gray color is used for the expanded areas. Is this a known bug? I’ve downgraded to 27.8, no issues there.Thank you,Patrik

This was working perfectly a few days ago. Now, when I select my whole image and say something like “remove writing” or “delete thin writing” or “erase writing,” I can sit there waiting and waiting, and suddenly it stops working and nothing gets done. Or, I can select a part of the image and click the “Delete” button and I wait, but then it stops and nothing gets done. This is wasting my credits (money) and time, and is very frustrating. I am on a Mac, and Photoshop is updated all the way. I do not want to use the Remove tool to solve the Generative Fill button problem, because it doesn’t work as well, and also has selectively stopped working. When I use the Generative Fill button, I had been using the Firefly Image 5 choice, because the other two were doing insane things like replacing my entire image with women’s faces, etc. I tried some of the more expensive Partner choices, but they were tending to overdo their edits, like adding things I didn’t ask for, or changing the entire colo

Windows 11 64 but, 128 Gb RAMWhen invoking Photoshop 27.9.1 from Lightroom Classic 15.5, Photoshop hangs after “Initializing tools” and never recovers. Have to have Photosop running before invoking it from LR and then things run as they should. This is new - probably came with the latest release as it I used it not long ago calling PS from LR “Open as Layers".The workaround is to have PS running before trying to call it from LR but this bug should be fixed. thanks and regards André

Smoetimes when i m trying to remove image background the error occurs
