HiI use camera-elated presets in Adobe Camera RAW. With the original RAW files, the presets automatically work as soon as I load the file in ACR. However, as soon as I output an original RAW as DNG, both compressed and uncompressed, and then open it in Camera RAW, the preset no longer works automatically. I then have to manually set the values stored in the preset or manually start the preset. The latter is curious, because the same preset is also used when opening the DNG.Does anyone have experience with DNGs in ACR and the automatic assignment when opening a DNG?By the way, the DNGs are generated from DxO Photolab as linear DNGs.Greetings Joerg

Since the latest Photoshop update (the main Photoshop and the Beta), whenever I perform basic canvas interactions—such as using any editing tool or zooming in/out—the canvas area immediately darkens severely, simulating an aggressive negative exposure effect.ps: when trying to screen capture what happend nothing show. uts shows only in photoshop through my eyes :) the screen capture software didnt catch the dankness.Key Observation:The visual darkening artifact is temporary. After stopping the interaction or switching/using another tool, the canvas automatically recovers to its normal exposure and brightness after a few seconds. This behavior strongly suggests a canvas rendering/redraw pipeline issue introduced in the recent engine update.Workaround / Findings:Disabling "Use Graphics Processor" under Preferences > Performance resolves the issue completely. Updating the NVIDIA graphics driver to the latest available version did not resolve the issue.System Specifications:Device: HP Z

Moticed Photoshop 27.1 stopped opening when trying to edit from Lightroom, or Edit as Smart Object from Lightroom, Then tried to open Photoshop on its own Initial screen checking memory appears then nothing. Checked up to date in creative cloud all up to date, tried launching from Creative Cloud again splash screen checking memory then nothing. Rebooted system checked all above again nothing. LRC and Lr both working fine problem is only with Photoshop

Hello, I have Phtoshop which I bought in 2010. My computer crushed. I temporarly install PSD on other computer. Then I bought new compter and I want to install my PSD but it says I cannot. Because there is already 2 applications.The message ‘Activation limit reached'How do I do that without unistalling photoshop on the wrecked computer and on the temporary computer? I had no profile on adobe website until about 2024 year so I cannot manage activated devices.. Thanks!

When I want to use the "export layers to files" function in Photoshop, there's always a prefix of the layer number sequence. For example, I'll export a number of layers (to pngs) and the prefix is _0001, _0002, _0003... I don't think this feature necessary in most cases. I already removed the standard 'File Name Prefix' in this dialog box. But, that doesn't hold true after export. Is there a way to quickly remove this default script?   Or if not possible, is there any recommendations on advance 'file renaming tools' like GREP in InDesign?

In the latest 2 updates to Beta, whenever I try to change the hardness on a brush the brush roundness defaults to 0 creating an extra step in my workflow to set it back to 100 where it has been forever. I change brush hardness frequently so this has become very annoying and is slowing me down. This happens when changing brush settings using the shortcut control click on a Mac. It also happens in the brush settings in the layers panel. I can't seem to find a workaround. Please look into this

Originally I copied and pasted from a client’s document to mine in Photoshop. The problem text includes these words: Post Office. Any attempt at changing the font for those words leads to the app shutting down. It doesn’t appear to be font related because no matter what other font I select, the app shuts down. No other word within that paragraph is affected as I have been able to change those, no problem. I’ve tried restarting. I’ve tried manually typing in the word rather than a copy and paste. I tried a new page containing those words. I’ve tried clearing the font cache and a few others and nothing has worked. It’s the same thing. It always shuts down.

For a company that charges an exorbitant premium subscription fee, their software stability is a absolute joke. A routine update completely destroyed the core Lightroom-to-Photoshop handshake workflow, rendering the standard 'Edit in Photoshop' feature entirely useless.When you try to bypass their broken code pathways, you are met with flat, washed-out color profiles that fail to render correctly even when manually assigning the proper color spaces. Adobe clearly does not test their systems properly before forcing updates onto paying users. They are using their consumer base as live guinea pigs for broken code.Instead of saving professionals time, Adobe’s lack of quality control turns simple, two-minute edits into hours of grueling tech support. It is completely incompetent, frustrating, and unacceptable for software that is supposed to be the industry standard. I am actively looking for alternatives to cancel my subscription.It is not surprising that so many people are switching away

I can't deactivate my cs5.5 and cs6 programs on my old computer because it's dead and won't turn on. So installing on my new computer is stalled because it won't let me activate them until the deactivation is done. I was on chat with Adobe for a bit and they will try to reissue serial numbers for programs but I have to wait up to 48 hrs. they are both education editions. Any ideas on how to make them work if the reissue path doesnt work?HELPPPP???EditCheck for similar questions

The Adobe Firefly connector in Codex is repeatedly failing with:HTTP 403 Forbidden — “MCP streamable transport probe failed”Endpoint: https://photoshop-mcp-service.adobe.io/v3-creativity-b8f2a/mcpThe connector worked briefly and successfully generated images, but then began returning this error again. It occurs before Firefly receives the prompt, even when generating one image at a time. Disconnecting, reconnecting and restarting the app have not resolved it. Since today’s Photoshop 27.10 update, the “Edit in Photoshop” command in Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 is not working anymore for me. Photoshop opens automatically as before (if it’s not open yet) but no image is being loaded. Downgrading Photoshop to 27.9.1 resolves the issue and the “Edit in Photoshop” functionality is back to normal. I also tried to change the external editing file format from TIFF to PSD or PSB but this didn’t make any difference. Anyone else facing the same issue? I’m running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. Closing and re-opening LRC and PS didn’t solve the problem, rebooting the machine also didn’t show any effect. P.S.: I posted this in the Photoshop forum as well
