You asked, we listened, and we're excited to share that one of the community's long-standing feature request is now available in Photoshop 27.10. For years, many of you have asked for more control over the file formats shown in the Save As and Save a Copy dialogs, including the ability to hide formats you don't use and create a cleaner, more streamlined saving experience. Today, we're happy to say: it's here! What's new? You can now customize the file formats displayed in the Save As and Save a Copy dialogs. Simply go to: Edit > Customize Save Dialog File Formats From there, you can: Enable or disable file formats Move formats you don't need to the Disabled File Formats column Restore the default list at any time Whether you're a photographer who primarily exports JPEGs and TIFFs, or a designer working mostly with PSDs and PNGs, you can now tailor the save experience to match your workflow.
Thanks to all who took part in our last, ‘Holy Island’, challenge. There were some great entries that showed the imagination and skill of this community. The regulars in these challenges will know that sometimes we start with a scene and sometimes an object. This week we have two starter images, the first with a magnifying glass and a paper. The second is the same magnifying glass but with a transparent background. You can use either, or both, to start your entry. The scene was created and rendered in Blender 3D with Adobe Substance 3D Designer and Adobe Substance 3D Painter used for textures. How imaginative can you get with this simple scene, or object? The “rules”:Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry. Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc. Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”. The challenge is not limited to Pho
Everything was working fine, but now I am unable to use the generative fill feature in both Photoshop and Illustrator, as it says "Please check the internet connection and try again". Attaching the screenshot for your reference. Would be great if someone could help.Thank you 🙂
Since today’s Photoshop 27.10 update, the “Edit in Photoshop” command in Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 is not working anymore for me. Photoshop opens automatically as before (if it’s not open yet) but no image is being loaded. Downgrading Photoshop to 27.9.1 resolves the issue and the “Edit in Photoshop” functionality is back to normal. I also tried to change the external editing file format from TIFF to PSD or PSB but this didn’t make any difference. Anyone else facing the same issue? I’m running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. Closing and re-opening LRC and PS didn’t solve the problem, rebooting the machine also didn’t show any effect. P.S.: I posted this in the Photoshop forum as well
Same thing happened to me with Photoshop. I had to rebuild my system twice and lost the ability to load my perpetual license. To fix the problem is a simple database update, changing the count from 2 to zero but they refused to do it. I have thousands of photoshop files, never thought it would be a problem until my last system rebuild. Now I have a perpetual license that I can use and am forced to pay monthly. Adobe is especially bad at driving everyone to their rent your software model so they can get a constant revenue stream because the software is at EOL but they still want to make money on it.
After the latest update (Photoshop v27.10) during normal canvas interactions like zooming in/out, panning, or using editing tools the canvas suddenly darkens drastically (simulating a severe negative exposure effect) and then pops back to normal a few seconds after you stop moving. This is disrupting my urgent work. When I switched to previous version, I had trouble selecting any object. Please fix this bug fast!
PROBLEM SUMMARY:The physical ASUS Dial or touchpad DialPad works for Windows volume and brightness, but completely fails to work natively inside Adobe Photoshop (no smooth brush size scaling, zoom, opacity, or HUD). A factory reset or clean driver install does not fix this. The root cause is a three-part installation failure by ASUS:1. The ASUS Control Panel Toolkit installer leaves the extension packed in a .zip archive instead of installing it.2. The native C++ bridge file (AsusDCPPhotoshopExtension.dll) is not copied into Photoshop's plugin directory.3. Modern versions of Photoshop block unsigned legacy CEP extensions unless an Adobe developer debug flag is turned on in the Windows Registry. Follow this step-by-step fix to restore full native control. STEP 1: Extract the Missing CEP Extension Files1. Open File Explorer and navigate to:C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Control Panel Toolkit\(If not there, check C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ASUS Control Panel Toolkit\)2. Locate the file named

Title:Strategic Pivot: Free Local "Human Use" Licensing Powered by High-Margin Firefly AI UpsellsMessage:Hi Adobe Product Team and Community,I want to propose a strategic evolution of the Photoshop licensing model that protects Adobe's market share against emerging free/open-source alternatives while unlocking a massive new revenue stream: The Free Local "Human Use" Tier.Instead of charging individual creators a flat subscription for basic local access, Adobe should make Photoshop free for non-commercial, local, manual human workflows, while shifting monetization heavily toward cloud-driven, AI-enabled features (Firefly) and tokenized compute. Here is why this is a highly profitable business decision for Adobe:• Securing the Future Pipeline: The primary threat to Photoshop in the indie and hobbyist spaces is the financial friction of the Creative Cloud subscription, which pushes users toward free or one-time-fee alternatives. By offering a free tier for local human workflows, Adobe capt
Tool creates weird pixel artifacts, GPU setting workaround doesn't work (v27.10.0)When using the Remove Tool in Photoshop, instead of removing blemishes, weird pixel artifacts appear with every stroke.I have checked other threads on this issue. Workarounds like unchecking "Use Graphics Processor" do not solve the problem for me.This is often dismissed as a "Beta version bug," but I am currently running full release version 27.10.0 and the issue persists. Is there a permanent fix or a known bug report for this?
The AI repair brush is not working in version 27.4. An error message appears when I set it to AI ON. When AI is set to AI AUTO, a pattern appears where the brush is supposed to repair. Please fix this bug.
I’m having a saturation issue with Photoshop Version (27.10.0), how do I revert to a previous version so I can use Photoshop until Adobe fixes this issue?Camera Raw & Bridge looks good as it did before the (27.10.0) update. Thank you,Julius
I recently updated to the Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.9.1 20260803.r.1 65900e1 x64 (final, Release). Once I import an image and I use the Clone Stamp Tool, it doesn't work as it used to. I use Alt+Click to select an area to clone, but then, when I click on a target to clone on, it uncontrollably clones other areas of the image, at a linear manner. I haven't seen such a behavior before.
Al abrir Photoshop, al crear un documento nuevo, la ventana de "Nuevo documento" tarda, se comporta de forma extraña e incluso llega a abrir después de la interfaz antigua. y hay parpadeos de pantalla al trabajar dentro de interfaz.
The Sky Replacement tool on my Windows 11 (25H2) PC was working perfectly up until I update Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 three days ago.Selecting Sky Replacement in the Editor (Edit » Sky Replacement) is OK and all my skies appear. When I select a sky, I find all of the sliders and functions, except Brightness function perfectly. The Brightness slider can be moved to both extremes, but no change in Brightness materializes. I have performed a clean instal of Photoshop, without effect (Uninstalled PS with Revo Pro Uninstaller, and thereafter deleted every Adobe folder I could find).Even performed a clean reinstall of the Windows operating system. Finally, I restored my system, from a Macrium Reflect X to a state prior to the Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 update. Low and behold - the Brightness for Sky Replacement works. It looks like a Bug, to me.Appreciate any comments/adviceBrian
HiI use camera-elated presets in Adobe Camera RAW. With the original RAW files, the presets automatically work as soon as I load the file in ACR. However, as soon as I output an original RAW as DNG, both compressed and uncompressed, and then open it in Camera RAW, the preset no longer works automatically. I then have to manually set the values stored in the preset or manually start the preset. The latter is curious, because the same preset is also used when opening the DNG.Does anyone have experience with DNGs in ACR and the automatic assignment when opening a DNG?By the way, the DNGs are generated from DxO Photolab as linear DNGs.Greetings Joerg
PS and LRC are displaying the same file quite differently. I use an Eizo CG2700S and my main display. I have also confirmed the same results on a BenQ 2700PT. The PS display is more saturated and deeper shadows than LRC. There is not difference if I take a DNG, make no changes in LRC and edit in PS straight, or as a smart object. However, if I make a change to color, exposure, etc in LRC before editing in PS, there is a substantial. Any changes in PS also cause a difference in displays on the roundtrips to LRC. It makes no difference with tiff or psb files. I have attached screenshots of side by side PS and LRC of the same file on the Eizo. I have also attached screenshots of settings, system information and Eizo calibration.Note: the png files do not show the extent of the differences, but it is apparent. I have read multiple reports of similar cases, with no found solution. I am preparing for 2 exhibitions now and this is driving me nuts. I appreciate help in finding a solution.

I use Photoshop 2025 and I have a Pixma Canon G650 printer. I’m unable to print with it. Once I reach the print screen, it closes itself down. Even touching any of the setting buttons on the print screen causes it to close. I’ve installed the latest drivers for the printer but nothing. This is very frustrating as I rely on it for printing often. Any help would be appreciated?
