Photoshop

I have a problem with the export option in Photoshop. When I try to click the export button like I always do, I can't reach it because it's hidden at the bottom of the screen. I also tried hiding the Windows taskbar, but it didn't work. 

I signed up for a free trial of a pdf editor and canceled it less than 30 minutes later. Then next month rolls around and charges go out of my account and it says my account is still active despite being canceled. Ive struggled to get in contact with anyone to process a refund

How do you crop a single layer in Photoshop?That’s all I want to do. I have a series of images all laid out on my board, I want to crop a single photo of those 10 photos to fit in my grid better. That’s it. I want to crop. I want to select a single layer, and crop it. 

I’ve been publishing for over thirty years and never had this issue. KDP demands exact dimensions for book covers, but recently, I am unable to resize images to fit those dimesions. I realize Photoshop uses pixels, but in publishing, you have to use inches. When i go to image size and deselect the resampling, as advised, and then insert my proper dimensions, Photoshop changes those dimesions so that the cover size is incorrect.I’ve tried checking and unchecking resample.I’ve tried starting over with a new template of the size needed, and it still won’t let me decide what size I need. The correct width and height is 13.198 x 9.25. When i can make those changes and save it, then open it back up, Photoshop has changed one or the other setting. The settings have to be exact, so without a solution to this, i can’t upload book covers. 

I've been working with PixelLab for creating simple graphics and text based designs, and I'm trying to find a better workflow for taking those designs into Photoshop for more advanced editing.I'm particularly interested in keeping the image quality as good as possible when moving from PixelLab to Photoshop. I'm also wondering whether it's better to export as PNG, use a higher resolution canvas, or use another format before opening the design in Photoshop.I've been working with PixelLab resources and versions as well, and came across PixellabHub while looking for resources related to the app: For anyone who uses both PixelLab and Photoshop, what workflow would you recommend for getting the best quality and flexibility when moving a design from one to the other?

I updated Photoshop 2025 yesterday which apparently came with a camera raw update.  The denoise in camera raw stops after 15-25 percent then does not reactivate on the raw file when selected.  

How do I fix Camera Raw Masking Select People 

Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.4.0 2Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit When I go to Image → Canvas Size, the default is always pixels. I want it to be inches. Note: I have checked in preferences, units and measures, and the default is inches. Also when I go to image → Image size, the default is in fact inches, which is what I expect.  Is the default unit for image → canvas size now different? Is there a different place to set it?  thanks

I recently downloaded the latest Photoshop update and now none of my drivers/processors are compatible to allow me to edit in camera raw.  After digging around and trying to update drivers, I realized I need windows 11 and will have to buy a new laptop to be compatible with the new update.  Can I uninstall the update and install an older version? Which version is the last to work well with windows 10?

Last week it began returning unexpected results when tasked with fixing a small area. I noticed two things:First: it can’t help but hallucinate. It will reliably return a snake, a bow and arrow, a jar of something or what not. Usually in situations were it used to reliably fill in a texture perfectly and out perform Firefly Fill & Expand.Second, it seems to have lost the ability to seamlessly retian texture over a small area. Often it comes back mangled or oversharpened if it doesn’t have an ice pick or a toaster thrown in.Anyone else seeing this? It seemed like a pretty sudden server side thing so please please please don’t ask me to post 10 pages of my system info efectively killing this thread. 

I was using the Filter Aberration parametric filter extensively and suddenly stopped working. After the 27.5 update, when Photoshop is closed, it stays active in RAM. The same applies to opening and closing individual documents. I have 32 GB of RAM, and if I open several documents—for example, using up 16 GB of RAM—and then close one of them, the consumed memory does not decrease; it remains in memory. It gets to the point where, after an hour of work, RAM usage reaches 29–30 GB. And after closing Photoshop, the memory is not freed until you manually terminate the process in Task Manager. Also, until you end the process via Task Manager, you cannot restart Photoshop. I have several M1 Macs—from Mac mini to iMac—and they all have the same issue. Whenever I open Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, even if I don’t do anything, WindowServer will jump to around 80–90% GPU usage. Once I start working with files, even just opening a single image, the whole system becomes choppy and starts dropping frames, with GPU usage almost maxed out.But : if I switch the app to full-screen with menu bar mode (press F), the window shadows disappear, GPU usage drops back to normal, and everything runs smoothly—even with large files open. This makes it pretty clear the issue is related to how window shadows are being handled in macOS 26 and how it interacts with Adobe apps.It’s been months since Adobe 26 came out, and I’ve been waiting for updates to fix this, but even the latest versions still haven’t solved it. When using the remove tool , as in these two example images, the new image information created by the remove tool is more pixelated and lower rez than the image being edited. See the before and after images where I am removing the road and Semi.  I have used REMOVE for years, and this is a new problem. Any ideas for how to fix this?

PS 27.8.0An error message pops immediately upon choosing the local device option for Remove Tool processing.GPU has 12 (just under 12) of ram on the card which is higher than listed requirements for this.Checked sys info and PS sees the GPU’s ram so I’m not sure where the disconnect is in the ram check sparking this error.  Attached. screenshot showing error message and portion of sys info scrolled to gpu data seen. 

This bug has been reported before, but persists, making editing arduous. It only became a problem recently, so I feel it is a version issue, say after 25 or so. I have not downgraded as of yet, but may have no choice. After a few touch ups (nothing major, like skin blemish), the tool will freeze and then memory use will ramp up until entirely maxed out (64 GB). I see it in the Task Manager graph. After about two minutes (if a person was willing to wait), a dialog box pops up saying there is no more memory to complete task. When closed, I can save the image and proceed. This has happened each and every time I edit an image and I cannot go more than 5 uses before this happens.  I contacted support over the phone and was told to increase memory usage under performance. I does not help and resetting preferences also does not help. This issue needs to be fixed as I feel the remove tool is one of the core tools users now rely on. If it would be helpful to d
