How It Works

How is this different from Generate Image and Generative fill?

  • Generate Image: Creates a completely new image from scratch based on a text prompt.
  • Prompt to Edit: Modifies an existing image (or a fully selected image) based on written instructions.
  • Generative Fill: Generates or edits content only within a specific selected area of an existing image.

      The season change idea is great. I'd love to try turning a summer photo into an autumn scene. Does it keep faces and small details sharp, or is it better to use it on landscapes for now?

      This is a really interesting feature. Being able to edit photos using text prompts can make the workflow much faster, especially for quick adjustments or creative ideas. It also seems helpful for beginners who may not be familiar with all the tools in Photoshop.

      I’m curious how precise the results are when using more detailed prompts, but overall this looks like a great step toward making editing more intuitive.

      I like the separation between Prompt to Edit and Generative Fill. For larger changes like lighting or seasons, being able to describe the whole result in one prompt should be much faster than making several manual adjustments. I’m most curious about how consistently it preserves faces and other important details.

      This looks like a useful improvement for creating and refining service related visuals. Prompt to Edit could be especially helpful when preparing images for local business websites, where the same photo may need different lighting, backgrounds, or visual treatments for different service pages.

      I’m currently working with local service website content and use image editing tools to prepare visuals for services such as automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith work.

      The ability to make broader image changes with a text prompt should make that workflow much faster.

       hola , me gustaría  que alguien me ayude tengo un problema  estoy trabajando  en mac con Photoshop y tengo una situación de que no  recose los comandos y  me aparese en el cursos  como una mano como si estuviera alguna teclas atorada y aunque cambie herramientas con el cursor no me permite cambiar  de herramienta  ya realicé  reiniciar dela PC y desistale e instale  el programa y la suid  y aun no se soluciones prove tambien cambiando el teclado .

      Prompt to Edit looks like a really useful addition, especially for making quick image-wide changes without rebuilding the edit manually. I like the idea of being able to experiment with lighting and atmosphere just by describing the result. I’m curious to see how consistently it preserves important details like faces and logos.

      I like the idea of having a separate option for image-wide changes. Generative Fill works well when I only need to replace or add something in one area, but changing the overall lighting or season can take several separate adjustments. Being able to describe those changes in one prompt should make testing different looks much quicker. I’m especially interested in how well it keeps faces, clothing, and other important details consistent when making a larger change to the scene.

      Sounded really promising but failed every time I tried it with a helpful message to check my network, which is fine.
