The tab to click on and change the properties for an adjustment layer randomly disappears. Quitting and re-opening the app solves the issue, but it will happen again within minutes, usually when switching between different projects or different app on the computer.  On Photoshop v26.6 - Mac Mini M4 pro, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd.   Any help would be appreciated! ss

The "import video to layers" features is unusable after the latest update. Since I use this feature all the time this is critical for me!   - i am using a .mov file that has worked before (prores 4444, 10mb, 3seconds) - clicking ok makes the dialog hang 30 seconds with spinning beach ball - "Making layers" process takes 7 minutes! It took 7 seconds before! - the opened layers are all empty   Macbook Pro M3 Pro, macOS 15.1.1 Photoshop 26.1.0 20241113.r.121

Photoshop 2026 wont let me download Neural Filters on a Apple MB. Steps taken as follows to troubleshoothave uninstalled PS and re installed log out and log in both on the Cloud and PS have use my mobile data (personal hotspot) as a wifiStill 0kb downloaded. PLEASE HELP

Since updating to Photoshop 27.3.1 shape layers have been behaving inconsistently. Running on Windows 11.I have multiple shape layers, all different colours, which I can manipulate fine individually. But, when I select multiple layers in the layers panel, all layers change to the colour of the lowest-most layer. This issue is inconsistent, sometimes layers behave as expected and other times they don’t.Also, some shape layers have text layers above them which are linked. If I move a shape layer, the text layer moves too as expected, but if I rotate the shape, the linked text doesn’t rotate.  I didn’t have either of these issues until I updated.Any help would be appreciated.

When launching Photoshop the following error appears on screen:“could not apply the saved panel configuration, resetting to default”After the application starts up, workspace can be restored back to the saved preferred layout and everything function correctly. This started with 27.1 and has continued in to 27.3There was also already a thread on here where Adobe said it was being looked in to and myself and others had submitted error logs to show where it appeared to flagging the error. After the community change here, that previous bug report has disappeared from the link resolving there or finding it via search so adding a new till it gets addressed.  

While using the Gradient Tool (PS 27.3.0) on a Layer Mask, Mode set to Multiply, this doesn't work properly now.The work around- I have to create a new Group of my layer then add a layer mask and set Gradient Mode to Normal in order to for this to work. This bug is new since I updated PS to 27.3.0

Hello Adobe Support Team,After updating to Photoshop v27.3 and v27.3.1, I encountered an issue when using the Curves adjustment.When adjusting Curves on the composite RGB channel (not individual R, G, or B channels), if I make an additional adjustment afterward, a residual or ghosted image from the previous adjustment appears. If I switch to another layer and then return to the original layer, the residual image disappears. However, if I continue adjusting the Curves, the ghosting issue reappears.I tested this behavior by downgrading to Photoshop v27.2, and the issue does not occur in that version. The Curves adjustment works as expected in v27.2 without any residual artifacts.This issue seems to be specific to v27.3 and v27.3.1 and may be related to how Curves adjustments are refreshed or rendered.Thank you for your time and support. I hope this information is helpful for identifying and resolving the issue.

Summary:When a Pattern Overlay layer style is configured with "Linear Light" blending mode in Photoshop 27.2 / 27.3 and the file is saved, the blending mode is not preserved when opening the file in older Photoshop versions or the current Beta version. The blending mode automatically reverts to "Normal" instead.Steps to Reproduce:Open Photoshop 27.2 / 27.3 Create a new document with a layer Apply a Pattern Overlay layer style to the layer (Layer > Layer Style > Pattern Overlay) Set the Blending Mode of the Pattern Overlay to "Linear Light" Save the file as .PSD Open the same file in either: An older version of Photoshop (pre-27.2) The current Photoshop Beta version Expected Behavior:The Pattern Overlay layer style should maintain its "Linear Light" blending mode setting when opening the file in different Photoshop versions.Actual Behavior:The Pattern Overlay blending mode automatically changes from "Linear Light" to "Normal" when the file is opened in versions other than 27.2 /

Hi - I have had enough now. Seriously. My recent files and home screen are blank (missing recent files) every single 3 days, like clockwork FOR OVER A YEAR!  I am practically demented now trying to ofix this permanently. Renaming UXP folders to either .old or ~UXP - does not work as a permanent fix. I cannot be expected to rename these folders every 3 days. I have had an agent remotely access my PC and he just did the same thing, renamed folders. I have used the Adobe clean-up tool, uninstalling Photoshop repeatedly, downloading again etc. Nothing is worklng. I do not use the Cloud to save my work, only specific folders on my PC (windows 11) There has to be a permanent fix for this, it has been going on for over a year like this and is driving me insane.  Please help with a permanent fix. My preferences are correctly set up. I am always updated to latest version. My recent files simply disappear from  the list under "Recent Files" and on the home screen when opening PS u

Sorry to bring this up again, previous thread is locked. The bug that has run throughout all of version v26 of photoshop is still here on my machine on v27. After opening a couple of raw files the 'Could not open 'file name' because of a program error' dialog is displayed until Photoshop is shut down. PS can be used okay without opening raw files, but it's fairly critical to my workflow so I'm still stuck on v25.9.   Has anyone actually found a fix for this other than building a new computer! I've tried uninstalling and cleaning all PS software and raw, uninstalling and reinstalling graphics card and drivers (radeon 6650xt on both adrenalin and pro drivers) win 10, i9700k 32gb ram. There’re a black layer on the web. So I cannot click anything on my photoshop screen

When the detailed Layers panel is open, it sometimes obscures the image I’m working on. The usual 2-finger-drag gesture to move the image on the screen doesn’t work when the Layers panel is open. Workaround is to close the Layers panel, move the image with a 2-finger drag, and then reopen the Layers panel, which isn’t an ideal workflow. Thanks for listening.

Tried to use this feature today (worked fin in previous version of PS) and today, after upgrading to ver 27, I get the "We've temporarily disable this feature because of an error" message. Of course I don't know what that error is, but pretty sure it's an error.    Running Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.7019 AMD Ryzen 7 7000AMD 6600X 8G (latest drivers)

Hi-In Photoshop 25.12 on Mac 14.6.1 going into the history flyout panel to "New Snapshot" no longer opens the additional options box for selecting current layer.  Instead, a new overal snapshot is produced like it would be if you clicked the little camera icon at the bottom of the palette.  Any idea if something has changed? 

Photoshop crashes after launch start. I use this for work and have already lost out on a lot of wage because of this! I've tried all updates restarts, I have enough storage and latest iPad update too. Ive heard this happened before and took a few weeks to fix. All my clients work is on this so I can't afford to not be able to use it.    ipad 10.5 ios 17.7.10

The message is 'sorry an error occurred' 'Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to close'. It then closes down. I updated to the latest version and still happening. Nothing wrong with the files, I have opened them many times before. Using latest version 27 in Windows

My Photoshop was working fine yesterday, but today keeps freezing and not responding. I see there was a major issue overnight (issue #202511200002), seems that it's still impacting some customers. I updated PS v 27.1 and v26.11.2, and both are still freezing. I'm on Windows 10.

After updating to the latest version of Photoshop, we encountered an issue where images saved from Facebook from the previous year display color distortions when opened in the program. However, images saved recently from Facebook open without any issues and display correctly.
