My photoshop (on Mac) keeps closing by itself. I have tried changing preference performance and nothing happen. Disk scratch also still 100gb 

When I use the Remove Tool (Generative AI) on a very small area—specifically a part of a character's foot shown in the screenshot—it triggers a "Guidelines Violation" warning. Instead of filling the area correctly, it severely distorts and scrambles the entire illustration, focusing on the blank spaces as seen in the attached screenshot. I tried the same operation three more times afterward, but got the exact same result every time.Could this be related to a false-positive safety guideline trigger?When I contacted the Japanese support desk about this issue, their disappointing response was simply that "nothing can be done."(Side note: While I also have serious concerns regarding Adobe's Generative AI Guidelines and their AI censorship system, I will omit those details here as this is not the appropriate place for them.) 

My photo was 1,600 x 2560 pixels.I used the AI Assisted Editor, then downloaded the result and it was 1696 x 2528 pixels. I’m using Photoshop 27.11.0 in Mac OS Goldengate 27.0.

I am using the latest version, 27.11. When I try to manually manipulate the curve editor the points just freeze and won’t move. This is a basic function for me that I use every few minutes. Restarting photoshop doesn’t work.Further to that, after I try to use the Curve editor, the Hue Saturation adjustment stops working, when I try to open the adjustment window I get these 2 error messages in succession:Drover error in ok_cancel_dialog:photoshop_require_bug Could not complete the Hue/Saturation command because of a program error (2a135c.901). I’m paying £68 a month for unusable software that seems to be getting progressively worse and buggier in direct proportion to the increase in the cost. WTF Adobe?

i have reactivated my photography plan... my lightroom app works fine but photoshop will only open in the browser...

Since today’s Photoshop 27.10 update, the “Edit in Photoshop” command in Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 is not working anymore for me. Photoshop opens automatically as before (if it’s not open yet) but no image is being loaded. Downgrading Photoshop to 27.9.1 resolves the issue and the “Edit in Photoshop” functionality is back to normal. I also tried to change the external editing file format from TIFF to PSD or PSB but this didn’t make any difference. Anyone else facing the same issue? I’m running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. Closing and re-opening LRC and PS didn’t solve the problem, rebooting the machine also didn’t show any effect. P.S.: I posted this in the Photoshop forum as well

Hi, Since a few days preview doesn’t work properly anymore.For instance: I select an area of an image, and I’m darkening that area with the Image > Adjustments menu.Then I click on the preview button to see the difference between my adjustment and the original situation.In the past I could toggle (preview/no preview) as many times as I liked. But now I can only click one time. I can use the preview button to see the original situation of the selected area, but when I’m clicking again (to return to the preview) the check mark appears, but I don’t see the adjustments anymore. They are applied however: when I’m clicking OK the darkened area is appearing. But I would like to see them before clicking on the OK button, so that I can test with darkening and lightening until the result is what I want.What should I do to restore the original toggling possibility? I have another problem with the rectangular selection tool. When I’m selecting an area, a rectangle appears on the image - so far,

merge to layers and photomerge in bridge command produces script error in photoshop top reinstall photoshop.

I added a shadow to an object in the top layer using the AI Assisted Editor and it changed my back ground text in a lower layer so that the spelling was wrong.Then I upscaled the picture and there were even more spelling errors in the background text. I’m using Photoshop 27.11.0 in Mac OS Goldengate 27.0.

Since a few weeks I got this weird problem where generative fill with gemini only delivers results which basically do not match the photo the need to be in. Perspektive, color just everything completely off. Why is that?😪 

Application doesnt launch.. i see the launch image etc.. but never gets to the start screen and asks me to generate a report and send saying ‘Photoshop has crashed’.

I try to move a picture from lightroom to photoshop and it opens photoshop but not the picture

I am no longer able to select multiple layers by using CTRL+Click and dragging over the layers that I want to select all at once. I must now CTRL+Click each individual layer which slows down the process immensely. 

Hey everyone,Up until recently, I was using Photoshop 27.8 (Mac 26.5.1) and everything worked perfectly fine.The newer Generative Fill and Expand model produces textures that are way too smooth. I’d even call them blurry. And yes, I’m aware of the 1024×1024 px limitation, but this happens even with 100×100 px selection.Because of that, I’ve been using the old Firefly 1 model from 2023, which, unlike the newer model, works really well for my use case. It handles textures amazingly well. When the "find distracting elements" feature is set to search for people, it is no longer possible to remove the identified individuals, as the button to execute the deletion has disappeared in PS version 27.11.

Windows 11. Photoshop 27.11.0 - Rectangular Marquee Tool - Fixed size & fixed ratio always returns to 64x64 and 1:1I rollback to 27.10.0, now they works.Any tips?

The tab to click on and change the properties for an adjustment layer randomly disappears. Quitting and re-opening the app solves the issue, but it will happen again within minutes, usually when switching between different projects or different app on the computer.  On Photoshop v26.6 - Mac Mini M4 pro, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd.   Any help would be appreciated! ss

Environment: OS: Windows 11 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Photoshop Version: 27.10 Driver: NVIDIA Studio Driver Issue Description: Immediately after updating to Photoshop v27.10, severe UI and canvas rendering issues began occurring during normal editing. The symptoms include: Rapid flickering where UI elements and the canvas temporarily disappear and instantly reappear (no black or white flashes). When navigating menus (e.g., Preferences), the text briefly vanishes and comes back. While editing, the active photo disappears from the canvas and instantly reappears. The flickering happens extremely fast, rendering the application completely unusable for daily work. This issue is isolated to Photoshop and does not occur in other applications.  The newly added modern user interface does not preview when using “apply image”. It also does not save the last known state/settings of apply image like it has in the past. This means if you are doing multiple apply images you have to select your settings every single time which is a huge pain. Please fix this so preview works and last used state/settings is saved or keep this options in the preferences so I can turn off modern user interfaces. It’s great Adobe wants to modernize the UI. I used to be able to toggle the auto-select options between layer and group by pressing “.” but this function no longer works after updating to 27.11.0. I can’t find anything online about this key command and why it’s suddenly not working but I’m certain it worked this way before as I’ve checked a different a different computer running 27.6.0 and it works there. Can I turn this key command back on again? I used it a lot and would appreciate not having to manually use the dropdown to switch between selecting layers/groups. I did look in my key commands list and didn’t see anything that matches the function I’m looking for. Also mannually creating key commands requires cmd or an f-key so I’m not sure I could just add it the same way it was before via the key command editor anyway.
