Going to go back to the previous version of PS until there is a way to turn this off or it's changed or eliminated. Seems someone at Adobe forgot that holding "Alt" while clicking a layer group is how we collapse/expand layers! Now when I try to collapse a layer group the whole thing zooms???? No bueno, Adobe.
Basically idea is when you set, let’s just say 100 megabyte to file size, export as automatically resize the image according to ratio of the image. This feature would be a really nice time saver.
Hi would you please make the Photoshop font browser/font list fully support the selected Dark UI theme?Currently, Photoshop's font browser still uses a light/white background for the font list, even when Photoshop is set to the Dark Theme. For comparison, Adobe After Effects already displays the font browser using a dark interface when the Dark Theme is enabled. The attached screenshot shows the difference between the two applications. Why this is necessary:Reduces eye strain, particularly when working in low-light environments or for extended periods. Improves comfort and accessibility for users who intentionally use the Dark Theme. Provides a more consistent Dark Theme experience throughout Photoshop and brings Photoshop's font browsing experience more in line with other Adobe applications
I cannot confidently tell my clients that no ai was used when it is so deeply integrated and maybe it runs on certain selection tools without me meaning to. For example, in Lightroom when synchronising settings from a custom preset that existed before ai was put into Lightroom, a statement about ‘ai processing’ shows up, even when I have not done any actions based on ai processing (no generative healing, no special denoise or lens blur)I would like a zero ai interface so I am not accused of even accidentally using it. The images I am dealing with are highly dependent on being seen as documentation and not manipulated by any pixel generation. At least it would be great to have a no-ai switch or working space that can stamp in the metadata that no ai was used.
Are there any suggestions/solutions for those of us who wish to disable or block AI tools like Firefly or the generative AI within Photoshop? I understand I don't actually have to use tools I do not wish to use within Adobe programs, but I think it would also be nice for some of us with strong ethical opposition to generative AI to have an option for it to not consistently pop up in our feeds or have our work training AI models without permission (hence why I disabled the content analysis option for my account). Due Screen users. I thought if an idea for Due Screen users , and the idea is that if you have two screens then it would be very good to able to add your tool of your choice on the other screen . Maybe a panel that could be undocked from Photoshop and then add the tool of choice to that panel and then to be able to move it to the other screen . This could be Brushes, Actions or anything in the tools sections .
Forced AI is generating a resurgence of open source tools. Adding an “Non-AI” or “AI Free” option to installations and apps would be highly advisable. Furthermore, a lot of individuals are already running with limited hardware and resources, and these AI features are burning up computer resources rendering simple tasks like cropping a jpeg almost impossible. For the longest time the only thing preventing me, as well as a lot of other users, from switching to a Linux OS has been the power of the Adobe tools. However, as Adobe keeps up with this forced usage and installation of AI they will start to lose more users to programs like Davinci and Darkroom.
Please make live mask with expressions something like layer2A*layer3R / layer4G referencing channels of other layers. I am so tired with doing copies of smart objects and putting them in clipping groups that clipping another group with channel mixers smart object adjustments to extract red channels to be then put through Blend if with black becoming transparent . All this makes a hell of a layer stacks and hidden clipping groups I then couldn’t understand a thing within just next day . No need for any nodes like in Nuke. Just make an expression driven layers with explicit layers access.
adjustment filters and smart mask we could just use code generated by chat GPT or cloude . I am so missing height to normal map conversion, re-normalization, slope and vector based displacement done in native resolution instead of the pain of sbs implementation. Preferably using GPU for speed.
All images in Photoshop now have the Generative Fill toolbar floating across the bottom and it gets in the way. It's not possible to dock that toolbar anywhere in the UX and while there's an option to "pin it" to a location, that toolbar location is pinned for only for a specific image. If you are working on multiple images and select a different open image, the Generative Fill toolbar jumps back to floating over that newly selected image. IT'S ALWAYS IN THE WAY and covering up the bottoms of my images! I assume most folks (like me) are not using Generative Fill with each and every image, so I'd rather that the toolbar behave like the other tool sets and options (eg. having it across the top of the screen or as a docking panel on the side).
I have a file that I work on as an ongoing project and I would like to be able to pin it to the PS start page and there is no ability to so. Now I realize I can just open the folder to get to the project but I want to be able to pin the project to remind me to finish it (i.e. so I can't use excuse "out of sight, out of mind"). Extremely low end suggestion and figure it doesn't hurt to put it out there.
Generative AI models such as Google Nano Banana can take 1–3 minutes to produce each result. During that time, Photoshop prevents us from switching tabs and continuing our work.AI generation should run in the background. We should be able to edit another document and receive a notification when the result is ready. When testing multiple prompts or variations, these delays quickly add up. Background generation would remove a major workflow bottleneck and make Photoshop far more productive.
Remove is a powerful tool when it comes to objects but it doesn’t do as well for text. Especially small print. If I am remastering an old magazine that was published pre-digital and all of the source material is lost to the ages, for example. Often, straight remove just takes surrounding pixels and fills in the space and this can often mangle any image detail that’s underneath the test. Imagine a sheet of lined paper with hand writing in pencil on it. If I were to take an eraser and erase the pencil, it erase the text revealing the white paper underneath. Well, the current remove tool in Photoshop will botch this concept up. So rather than erase the text and leave white page underneath, it’ll grab pixles from the blue lines as well and use those to remove the text. Especially when the text in question is a smaller object on the image. This problem is magnified when you text overlayed on a complex background. It often leaves obvious rectangular blocks where the original text could be or
Thai should be available as a user interface language in Photoshop. Thailand has a population of more than 70 million people, representing a substantial potential user base.Adobe already provides Photoshop in a wide range of languages, including Swedish, Danish, and Vietnamese, yet Thai is still not available. Thai-speaking users should have the option to use menus, settings, dialogs, and other interface elements in their native language.Adding Thai localization would make Photoshop more accessible to Thai users and would be a meaningful improvement to the overall user experience. Thai UI support is long overdue and should be added.

Hi, there please add turnable tool for photos in photoshop like Adobe Illustrator expect it turn photos in photoshop thanks
I seem to remember that when you wanted to ‘SAVE AS' a PNG, you could do so in the first 'SAVE AS' window and it was there in a pull down menu option. But in recent years it required clicking on 'SAVE A COPY'. Doing so allows the PNG option to appear. But I often adjust the location/director/folder where I am saving first (it is at the top and I work down), when I click 'SAVE A COPY' it resets the file directory. Meaning I often don't notice, and it saves to the wrong folder and I can't find it. Could save to folder stay the same whilst you click ’SAVE A COPY’?
I’m using very often Auto Color (Shift-Ctrl-B) as starting point, but this is destructive edit only.I would like to have “Auto” buton on Color Balance tool, same as is for Levels etc., so I could start with auto color and then continue with Color Balance editing nondestructively.
i love the feature of font classifications but the problem is a lot of the fonts i own on my local storage, not adobe fonts, don't have metadata embedded in to classify their style correctly, so even though in my font book i have probably 100 fonts i would classify as handwritten or script, in photoshop only about 20 of those fonts get put into the correct classification and the rest would be left in the “all classes” section. so the ability to manually edit and move which fonts go into these classes myself would be a really helpful update to the font panel!

The latest version of Photoshop is like learning a new program completely. It is so complicated and designed for professional designers who use it daily. It is cheaper for me to use Canva but I just love my old version of Photoshop as I use it when I need it and I can still do a lot that Canva doesn't have.Another option is to have a pay per use option. Instead of paying monthly, I can pay a small fee for each time I use it which is about 10 times a month. This will cut the costs down so I can keep on using Photoshop and not another system. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Currently Photoshop is only available on Windows and macOS, forcing Linux users to rely on dual-booting, virtual machines, or compatibility layers like Wine — none of which offer a reliable, full-featured experience. Linux has a growing base of designers, illustrators, and photographers, especially in tech, open source, and Linux-native creative workflows. A native Photoshop build (or GPU/color-management-optimized support via a compatibility layer) for major distros would remove a significant barrier for this community. Even a phased rollout starting with core editing features would be a big step forward. plz
Photoshop Focus Stacking feature for iPad is a must!Im a professional photographer and these days theres no reason for a descktop computer, especially with the combination of the recent M1 ipads pros with lightroom & photoshop apps. That being said, there are really essential features that professional photographers use.. Focus Stacking being one of them. Layering & aligning 20-30 photos one by one is a joke. Concedering the price of subscription and alternative apps that are a one time fee that already have this feature for ipad, Photoshop should of released this feature by now. Besides.. after paying subscriptions every month for photoshop &lightroom, using another app feels like blasphemy.
