Apple Support = we could not get the computer to go into safe mode (tried a # of ways... nothing worked. 2. I can't get my scans to open. It says Couldnot open (the pdff) because a color was specified using an unsupported color space. The scans are B&W only. NO color mode selected. 1. Finally!! The blue line showed up and the palettes docked on R. I don't know how it did it but it did.   2. If I double click on it, it opens in Acrobat reader. But... since some dr's send multiple page forms for me to fill out and my handwriting is not readable (even to me sometimes)... I try to open in Photoshop and use the type tool on each page and save those as jpg's or pdf's.... So that's why I need to be able to open the file. The scanner just scans in B&W.  ... View more

I finally got the layers/paths palette to line up above character/paragraph and color below but the whole stack just refuses to dock on the R side. I've tried holding the mouse on the top of these palettes and dragging, dragging just the mouse not connected to the palettes... etc... no blue line ever shows up on the R side. ... View more

No blue line shows up. The workspace showing = the line of palettes is still loose and won't dock on R... it's just floating there and if I close rest... the layers, characters, paragraph, color palettes (these are linked but the stack = stays loose on desktop. ... View more

I used to be able to open multiple documents at the same time. Now according to the prev. answers, I open one and then drag what I want onto the 1 instead of being able to open multiple documents at same time in Photoshop 2025. I was given all sorts of strange answers in past but not what I was looking for. Previously, I could open multiple documents at same time, make the ones I wanted small and drag off to the side or desktop and then copy paste what I wanted on the side ones (or copy the entire one on the side) and then I had made the canvas larger on the main one so I could paste over onto the main one.  That's no longer working + if I open a main document or page = and drag over what I want to it on the side of the larger canvas... it won't let me modify what I just dragged over.. it just places it. So I can't create one document with several images....Examples of previous work before I got my new computer attached.  Previously I would have one image, make the canvas larger and then copy paste from the other open documents/pages onto my main one to make one image with multiple pictures.  I hope I am making sense as I was getting all sorts of odd answers in past inc. something about tiling and I can't remember what else I was getting.  Just want to be able to open multiple images at same time like in past with my Photoshop 2023 & 2024 ... Dear Trevor.Dennis, thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately... not getting it to work.... I drag the color, character, paragraph palettes over and get the blue line... BUT.... instead of going in UNDER layers... they line up next to each other side by side.  I've tried creating new workspace but color, character & paragraph just float and do not stay in place on the doc.  I wanted them to line up under layers... but I am not having luck trying. I am trying to get to the discussions to reply to Trevor.Dennis. Unfortunately... all each palette does is try to go to the top so that I have 3 or 4 palettes lined up next to each other at top R instead of going into the far bar area... Want Layers and then below color and then below character and paragraph but instead I am getting this??? So instead of going into proper place.... they are just lining up to each other side by side instead. I had put them in place and did new workspace but not holding. Thanks for help!!!!!! ...
