What I found was kinda by accident. I changed the search path then tried again. The path was completely random so failed. I then tried again with the correct, but this time I worked perfectly. I guess DW has a bug. Thanks all.

How many times does this happen. I haven't changed my graphics card, or anything else on my PC, but I've started getting the above message. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 640. I've checked my system and I definitely have DirectX 12.0 installed. Does anyone have any information on this issue. I did try 'chat' but had to give up on chat as I was waiting 5 minutes between answers.

Hi folks. Not so much a problem as an irritation. I have my Dreamweaver Interface on light grey. When I highlight the start of a div the corresponding closing /div is also highlighted, trouble is the highlight is very faint. I’ve looked at the highlights section in preferencesto try and change this but it doesn't seem obvious to me. Does anyone know if it's possible to change this highlighting colour only?

I just found a sulution. Why DW was doing this beats me. I don't know DW well enough. I went into sites and deleted my photos site, and now everything is working fine. Thanks Nancy and Ben for helping.

Something I just tried. I generated a new CSS file with a totally different name, and placed it in my CSS folder, then attached it using DW. <link href="/css/New.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> This time it didn't generate multiple CSS links, but it still gives the wrong path. Also this New file has no affect on my page.

Yes Nancy it's probably 15/20 years old. It's a photography site so I only ever add or remove photos. Unfortunately the contact links have been disabled by my domain host, so to temporary get round this I wanted to add a contact form, and this is where the problems started. Tried validating (Didn't know about this, love it). It did find a couple of things but they weren't related. Tried the reset you suggested but this din't work either, so I uninstalled DW and then reinstalled it. Again not fixed. What I have noticed is the addresses of each CSS file. One is on my PC path, the path I entered, but the other is showing an http location. Does this help?

The first image is with no attached CSS Then I attach one CSS and I get multiple attachments. Sometimes more than just one extra. None of the attched sheets perform as the should. Any idea folks?

When I try to attach my CSS file using 'File' attach Style Sheet if seems to go ok. However when I try to edit my CSS I get a warning saying my CSS file is remote and can't be edited. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Nancy. Thanks for replying. I always do try to keep the code good, but unfortunately sometime there is a mistake I've missed. If I know there is an issue that I intend to rectify later, I can close the panel by just clicking on the 'X' icon (1). but if I fix the issue immediately and (1) turns green, I can no longer close this panel without opening the 'group' icon (2) and selecting 'Close Tab Group'. The icon I'm talking about is shown in my image (1). When it's red as shown here, you can close this panel. When it's green you can't. Hope this is more clear.

Hi there. This isn't a bug but just a little irrataing issue in your page coding. At the bottom right of DW there is a little green tick icon with the tag 'No errors'. When there is a code problem this changes to a red cross. Click on it when it's red and you get a page showing the code violation. Click on it again and the page closes. Unfortunately, when you fix the code violation and it changes to green, due to the fix, clicking on the green icon does nothing. Can I ask that this little bug be changed, so clicking on it when it goes to green closes the fault page. It would make life just that little bit easier. Having to open the 3 horizontal lines and select Close Tag Group each time is a tad annoying. Cheers, Jon.

Hi folks. In Dw I'm using the interface 'Light'. The problem is, when I highlight say <div> and look for the closing </div>, it's highlighted in a very pale colour, so not easy to see, Is there a way to change this highlighting colour whithout changing the whole interface theme? (See attached)

Hi all. I'm using the £ sign on an HTML page. Todate this has been ok. However today when I enter the £ sign it looks ok, but on the page it has a large A infront of every one and on every page and every browser.
