Dear all, If anybody has a mac and during a LR/PS roundtrip the layers are not there anymore: Go back to 3.4. I just spent 2 hours with an Adobe tech trying to find the problem in 4.0. When going back to 3.4 the problem was solved,; layers are retaind again during a round trip. This is with LR 4.0 on Mac.

Contacted ADOBE. They said to reste both cprograms: To reset preferences for Photoshop 1. Quit PS from the activity monitor 2. Click on the GO option on the top of your homescreen and press and hold ALT key on your keyboard it will highlight a Library 3. Select that library the go to Preferences > Adobe Photoshop 2020 settings folder. 4. Select the settings folder and rename it as adobe photoshop 2020 settings.old 5. Relaunch PS and check Same with 2021 folders . To reset preferences for Lightroom To reset the preferences , save your work and quit LR CC 4.0 Then open creative cloud desktop app and press and hold Command + Option + Shift keys on your keyboard and click on Open next to the Lr icon while pressing those keys simultaneously . It will ask you to delete current settings/preferences . Click on Yes and then let Lr open on its own. I did that but no change. Still no layers visible when reopening in PS.

Is there a fast way to reset all sliders when using a brush? I always have the last setting meaning when using a new brunsh one has to reset slide by slider which takes a lot of time.

I could solve the problem while going to Lightroom web on this photo and make a small change. From there it synched back to the ipad corrcetely.

After editing, I don't know what happened, the file on my iPad became pixelated. It's also pixelated on the synched devices and on Lightroom web. This is a jpeg file coming dircetley from an X-Pro2. Any ideas? I checked an earier edit of the file which was still ok. How is this possible??? With another jpedg I went to the web version of Lightroom, and first, no pixelation: Then I opened for edit and voilà : I checked no the sych on the ipad and tere as well: No Pixelation in the small preview and when I open for edit its pixelated. Again, I always shoot raw and these are the first two jpeg files tha come from the Fuji X-Pro2. Anything to do with that?

Hi, how do I delete a profile? NOT a present, but a PROFILE. I see how to hide them but I do not see how to uninstall or delete them. LR CC on Mac and Mobile.

The strange thing is that on mobile it works. Opening LR CC mobile gives directe access to Apple Photos mobile and allows to import into CC - the result is RAW and its indicated on the photo in CC. I have not tried what happens with JPEG/RAW pairs. I think as more and more people seem to go the mobile way and cannot go around Apple Photos (as its the forced import location on mobile), a better integration with Apple Photos library also on Desktop would be great.

Same here. I need to add my SD card with RAW pics to the iPhone Apple Photos app. Then open LR mobile and import and let LR sync to LR mobile. For me, being on the road, it's a perfect workflow. BUT: I would like, as you, being able to import files into LR desktop from Apple Photos desktop. Maybe a question for Apple? None of the other apps i tried (Luminar, ON1, Capture One, ..) could access the Apple Photos library directly and import the raw file. It seems strange that this is only possible via mobile.

HI, I am in Lightroom CC (not classic). I have my images in a Album in a Folder and see them in a grid. I select "Custom Order". But I CANNOT move the images around. What do I do wrong?

Thanks, that worked ! But I had 128 presets. I tried to right click on the folder they were in and indeed, the whole folder was deleted.
