Camera Raw distorted image issue - Photoshop

I have the same problem, tried everything, still comes up the same, have uninstalled and reinstalled programme, I can not get it to create project nothing, it just hangs with a blue circle spinning, turned off and back on computer still not working, where do I go from here. Since the last update to Photoshop cc every time I load a JPEG, then go to filter (camera Raw) the whole programme locks up, if I put in a RAW photo it works OK, is this a new problem as I never had it before. Any help appreciated, Thank you
