Hi! I use paths a lot, exclsuively COMBINE SHAPES as my path operation go to. But I find I am hitting SOME key combo inadvertently thats changing it to SUBTRACT FRONT SHAPE. And it's making me hate life itself. I cant find the shortcut in the preferences to destroy it utterly. Can anyone figure out a way to stop this crime against humanity?

Everything is up to date. i9 64gb of ram. Windows 10 home
Current version freezes consitently opening files and during work. I've had to go back to the previous version.
No, flushing the preferences does nothing. Adjusting memory, gpu use, nothing. Cache levels, nothing. This version is broken.

Hello! All updates, Windows 10, latest phtoshop, video drivers updated. About half the time opening more than 1 file, photoshop freezes. At one point I let it go for 20 minutes just to see what would happen. Opening spinning symbol freezes. Confirmed previous version does not have this problem.

What worked for me was going back to an older version then updating again. That seems to have settled the issue. But I'll try those other suggestions if it happens again.

1tb ssd main drive
all drivers, updates are current
last two versions of PS have lag opening files. Latest version freezes opening any file over 50mb or so
went back two versions, im having no problems.
thoughts?

I9 64 gb ram geforce 2080ti windows 10 home 1tb ssd photoshop everything is latest Version of both apps and drivers This is more annoying than anything but I noticed, it doesn't happen every single time. That when I open a file there be a slight delay before the rotating icon appears and the file opens. The save delay seems to only happen when I'm saving something as a tiff. There's a short 3 to 4 seconds were nothings happening and then the tiff save dialogue appears. A couple weeks ago all this the stuff was fairly instantaneous. lmk if anyone has any thoughts.

i dont know if its a bug, or some random key combo. but about 3-4 times a day, my tool cursor will turn into the arrow cursor and i have to create a new window to get the tools to work again. thoughts?

Hello! So it's about two weeks after the last update. Drivers are current. And yesterday, for the first time, there is a slight delay of 2-4 seconds before a file starts to open. The file is local. It happens every 5th or 6th file I open. Also, photoshop will occasioanlly stop responding, again for 2-4 seconds or so. It's more irritating than anything. But any thoughts? I havent noticed a similar lag in any other software. Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900KF CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 64gb of ram windwos 10 home Geforce 2080ti All updates, drivers installed and current.

here's wierd one... i have photoshop on monitor one, a cintiq... i have youtube running in a window in firefox on monitor 2...and whenever i physically draw on the screen, it stutters slightly but consistantly. any thoughts?

Thanks. yes it’s 100% black in 2018 cc it’s fine. im wondering if it’s a bug or not. if someone has time and both versions to try: open up a grayscale file make a selection with the lasso tool fill with black go to edit>define brush preset that should make a custom brush (with the pencil tool selected) my cc2019, the option isn’t selectable

this: " Create a brush tip from an image Using any selection tool, select the image area you want to use as a custom brush. The brush shape can be up to 2500 pixels by 2500 pixels in size. Choose Edit > Define Brush Preset. Name the brush, and click OK." is not working, thats precisely what im saying.
