The 22MTK is great for the price — but you definitely can see where they cut corners manufacturing it. Knobs are all a bit tightly spaced & wobbly, no inserts, no channel VU LEDs or meters, etc. All in all though, great sound and I don't know of anything for the price that will give you 22 channels and the flexibility it offers. I've got a patch bay in front of mine which solves the insert problem, and generally have VU meters up on my screen. Thanks for the responses guys. The weird thing is, switching to a Waveform view is fine. It's when I switch back to Multitrack where it freezes. I have the Windows Task Manager open during this process, and no indicators jump - CPU, Memory, or Disk. Everything basically stays the same (around 10% usage CPU / 34% Memory / 0-2% Disk) ...
