Can I open an image in Photoshop and put text overtop the image? If so, could you walk me through the process? They change Photoshop so much. Thanks

That is a great example, thanks. What I was thinking, and I don't know if it's possible, was a table where you see three columns next to each other, left to right. But, on mobile those same columns are now stacked, top to bottom. (So everything is on a smaller screen, but there is no need to scroll. I know that in your example, there is no need to scroll, but it also makes the text small, and even smaller the more content there is.

Hello, I have a website with a few tables. The biggest table is 3 columns, of course this does not display correctly on an iPhone, as the table gets cut off and you would have to scroll. Ideally, I would love for the table to appear in mobile with each column beneath the one above. Any other method would do. My website is www.nobsphones.com. If someone could take a look and help me out. (Keep in mind, I don't know much about bootstrap, java, etc) I am kind of feeling my way through this, but would be very appreciative for some help. Thank you

Hello, I have an image, just an "S" partly on top of a "C". I am looking for a way to make a white border around the "S", so it offsets the "C". I don't really know how to better explain, so I uploaded a crude picture of what I want to do. I don't know if Photoshop or Illustrator is best, but I have both. Thank you for any help

Not quite. The idea is to separate the C logo from the test. The C logo should remain untouched and I can make the background transparent for the test. I'll upload the image, so you can see what I'm talking about.

Here is my image, and I am trying the Quick Selection Tool, not the Magic Wand. Sorry about that. Obviously I want the picture to remain as it

Hi all, I know how to make the background of a logo transparent using the magic wand tool, this is no problem. The problem I have run into is, I have a particular logo that is two images, a picture and text. The picture has some white lines in it, that the magic wand always wants to make transparent, and I want them to remain white. Really, what I need to do is separate the two images, (picture from text), so I can make the the background of the text transparent, and then add in my picture so it stays untouched. I thought I would need to put the text in one layer and the picture on another, and then add the two layers together for a finished product. I tried and tried, but always fall short. Is there even a way to do this? There must be... Can anyone help me through this process? Much thanks

Hi Hope you enjoyed your holidays! In Photoshop, how ho I put an image on a different colored background? Example, I have a logo that has a transparent background, how do I now make that transparent background a color, blue? I suppose I need layers. One layer for blue, and the other for the logo? I just can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone walk me through? It is Adobe Photoshop CC. Thanks very much

Hi all, I am trying to look for a simple line of code I can add to my home page to make the header follow as a user scrolls on the page. I don't want to really get mixed up with Bootstrap to do it. I know there has to be something simple to just put in the page. Does anyone know of something out there? Thanks

Thank you Nancy. I think I can use a third party and integrate into my website with code that they provide. I am curious, have you had experience with this? If so, what service do you use?

Hi I am looking to make a website using Adobe Dreamweaver. This site has to have ecommerce and a way for customers to log in to their own accounts with their own username. I have used Dreamweaver before, but I do not know if I can do ecommerce and customer accounts with it. Can anyone help and give me some pointers? Thanks very much, Greg

Hello, I have ha Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 now since my Windows XP days. When I upgraded my computer to Windows 7, it still worked great, with just as much functionality. I even put in on my Windows 10 laptop, and still it worked just as good, again with no diminished functionality. A few days ago, Macromedia Dreamweaver, for some reason stopped working on my Windows 7 machine. Every time I open it, I get : Please reinstall software. I can't figure this out. I reinstalled the software, I get the same error message. To make things more bizarre, my Windows 10 machine still runs Macromedia Dreamweaver with no problems. Does anyone know of a fix? I don't want to just throw away the CD.

Hey, Thanks for the info. If I am already using a bootstrap, named "bootstap.cc", should I create a new bootstrap named "modal.js"?

Hi I am looking for a simple way to create a pop-up window when the user clicks a hyperlink. When the user clicks the hyperlink, I need a pop-up window to overlay on the screen (smaller size), with the original page still being displayed in the background. Can this be done, relatively simply? Thanks

Hey, I've been tinkering around trying to forward the form to another page, when the user hits submit. I tried putting in a forwarding page in the <form action='' method='post'> attribute. Does it have to be a .php page, or could it be a .html page? I tried it both ways, but either way, it does not send the email. It does forward to the other page. Or maybe, the form could be set so the form fields disappear when the user hits submit, and all they see is the message saying the form has been emailed. I don't know if that is accomplished by the use of a forwarding page. Has anyone had any success? Thanks

I'm sorry, but I don't understand something. For the message field, I changed it from a textbox to a text area. Now the form won't work, but I don't see where else in the code it needs to be changed. Can you help?
