I just did a clean install of Windows 8.1 (64-bit) on my Dell laptop with 8GB of RAM and an i5 processor. I then installed Adobe Acrobat X from the Adobe download site and used the product key that I have. The install completed successfully and I've used Acrobat to review and edit a few documents. Everything seems fine. The issue I'm having is that Acrobat X has downloaded software updates for me to apply. However, when I try to apply them, I click on Install and then receive the following in a dialog box: Update Failed An error occurred. Adobe Acrobat Updater will try again later. Error: 1602 I have researched a fix on-line, but those fixes are for Windows XP and Vista for Acrobat 8 and 9. I would appreciate any help you all can provide. Thanks, Mike
