With something like Warp Stabilizer you are required to nest the 4K clips in order to apply the effect. Now I know that I can just apply the effect directly to the nested clip, but it typically works better to apply it to the clip in the nested sequence to utilize the 4K resolution instead of just putting it on the 1080 Nest. So that is why I nest the 4K and change the nested sequences properties to match the clip. Hope that all makes sense. So is there anyway to use custom presets on an already created sequence or is the only way you can use your custom presents is when you create a new sequence from your project panel?

I frequently nest 4K clips from my 1080 timeline so that I can apply effects properly to them. The problem is that the Nested sequence is a copy of the 1080 timeline settings. None of Adobes presets work for my 4K clips as the dimensions are 3840x2160 so I always have to use custom presets. Even though I have created custom sequence settings and have saved them (and the show up when I make a new sequence), when I try to load them onto Nested sequences they are not an option to choose. This leaves me with the tedious task of entering new sequence settings every time a nest a clip. Is there any way to fix this either by something built into Adobe, or by moving my custom preset files into an adobe folder that will then allow me to load them up when changes the settings of a nested clip? Thank You!

I bought my wife a new laptop to help me do some editing. Premiere is now showing the option to switch to CUDA for her. She has NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960M graphics card. Is there something I need to do to enable it? Drivers are up to date. Have latest cc2017 updates.
