Thanks for the thought. Since version 16 works so far, I am not sure that I want to uninstall version 16, install the newest flash and then try what you suggest. I guess the crux of the issue is what use is version 17 when version 16 works for me but version 17 doesn't? First try logging out of your XFinity account and rebooting the system.
