Initials for Illustrator

Hi, Adobe should change the initials for Adobe Illustrator from AI to IL. This would clear up confusion about AI. Thanks

I wasn't sure how to describe adding color with fill and stroke, so I labeled it an "effect." Thank you all for your advice! Much appreciated!

The effects are usually a fill and stroke. I would like to place the type on either a path or Effect>Warp> Flag. I haven't attempted this with a 3-D effect, but I would like to in the future. Thank you all for answering!
