Once that issue is "passed along" to the engineers who are "working towards a fix" I'm sure the engineer who has been "working towards a fix" for the last year will get a little chuckle while rolling his eyes. Let me just add how ticked off I am about being forced to use the alternate Quick Export to be able to save and replace. I just discovered that Quick Export changes whatever your file's resolution is to 72 dpi. Pixel depth does not change, meaning a 2000 x 2000 pixel image stays 2000 x 2000, but instead of being 300 dpi it's only 72 dpi. This affects how huge it is when Acrobat places images in a PDF for client approval. And if you're working on a team, and their files are 300 dpi at the same pixel depth, theirs will appear tiny. I'm happy to @#$% on Adobe for failing to fix this in PS 22. This is beyond the pale. I've moved to opening all existing jpgs and dragging history over, flattening, and saving to avoid dynamic linking problems and file management issues. Come ON Adobe. Start earning your exorbitant subscription fees. Give some love to the small but dedicated group of professionals for whom this BUG is a daily headache. Let me also add that I am saddened that, since PS 21, you can no longer rename a file in the finder for a file that is open in PS, continue to work on, then save that file and have the name automatically update in the open file. ... Lucky you. 21.2.3 is most current for me. Maybe a slow rollout? Maybe Windows only.   It's not about "Save as copy" (which I never use) as much as it is adding "copy" when you've requested "replace"   Can someone else look, update and test it out?
