Hi Akash Thank you for your message. I tried that but unfortunately whenever I close out and reopen Lightroom the same cycle happens. I am also having performance issues with Lightroom of late...e.g. frequent appearance of the spinning coloured wheel...I wonder could the two things be related? Thanks again Shane ... View more

Thanks dj_paige. I suspect one is related to the other because Lightroom has worked like a dream for me since I bought the laptop almost a year ago and the performance issues seem to have arisen since I used Clean My Mac. I cannot say for certain that it is the cause but I suspect it may have something to do with it. Upgrading from Sierra to High Sierra could have been something to do with it too I guess though I am not so sure about the timing of that coinciding.
