I’m using Lightroom Classic 15.2 release and Camera Raw 18.2 on Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26200 Build 26200.I scanned 20 negatives to 92% JPG with my Epson PerfectionV800 Photo using Silverfast 9 and gave them sequential names so they would sort correctly when sorted by Filename. I now want to set the Capture Date so they sort correctly when sorted by date.I selected the first photo and used Shift-Click to select the last photo in the folder (roll) so all photos are selected.  I then used Metadata->Edit Capture Time and set the Date/Time to 1/1/1967 12:00:00 AM 000ms, which is the scheme that I use when I know only the year.  The result: the first photo was set correctly, but the rest were set like this (still sorted by name):01/01/1967 12:00:00.000 AM12/31/1966 11:59:59.000 PM12/31/1966 11:59:58.827 PM12/31/1966 11:59:58.827 PM12/31/1966 11:59:58.827 PM12/31/1966 11:59:59.000 PM12/31/1966 11:59:58.827 PM12/31/1966 11:59:59.000 PM12/31/1966 11:59:59.000 PM01/01/1967 12:00:00.000 AM12/31/1

I am using LrC 15.2 and I will use the Web module to make some photo gallery pages.  I would prefer gallery templates that are friendly for phones, tablets, and computers.  For phones and tablets being able to swipe to go to the next or previous photo is convenient.  Are there any templates that can do that?  I already tried the Grid Gallery and Track Gallery and they require touching tiny arrow icons to navigate on a phone.

Hi Adobe Team, I’m posting this as a clear performance regression report for Lightroom Classic v15.x — specifically the Develop module image-to-image switching latency on Mac. REALLY SLOW. Please do not merge this thread into a generic “performance” megathread and then mark it as “Solved” as if nothing happened. Multiple users are reporting the same behaviour, and it deserves a proper investigation and acknowledgement (instead of being dismissed as an “NVIDIA driver” issue — this is Apple Silicon). What’s happening On Lightroom Classic v15.2, switching between photos in Develop is several times slower than in previous versions. I updated to Tahoe 26.3.1 and now LrC will not come up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, shut down Mac and restarted, Ask Adobe for help, etc,, etcNot sure what else I can try.

This problem hasn't been resolved for years. Can anyone help me? My patience with Adobe is running out. It seems like a very serious problem. Every time I launch export, Lightroom Classic gets stuck at about 15%.

Issue: The Point Color functionality has stopped working post upgrade.Steps to reproduce: Mask an area of the image, then go to Point Color under the mask adjustment section, click the dropper icon and then move the cursor to the image. At that point the dropper icon vanishes (as soon as the cursor moves over the image). [I can’t select any colour/area within the mask.I can see previous colours I have selected prior to the upgrade within the Point Color settings and can manipulate them.Expected result: when clicking the dropper icon, I should be able to move to my mask and select a colour to then manipulate. [Adobe doesn't accept bug reports of LR 14 on Mac OS 26, so I'm posting this here to inform other plugin developers and users and perhaps Adobe developers, if they're interested.] Plugins sometimes crash LR 14.5.1 with Mac OS 26.0 on Apple Silicon Macs when they try to run a child program using LrTasks.execute(), with the error in the crash log, "crashed on child side of fork pre-exec".  If this bug continues with LR 15 (officially supported on Mac OS 26), it could have a serious impact on many plugins. A similar bug occurred a year ago starting with LR 13.5, on just Intel Macs, and wasn't fixed until 14.5. Adobe's fix was suboptimal, serializing all invocations of LrTasks.execute(), creating a real performance hit for plugins that invoked multiple instances of programs in parallel (e.g. Exiftool). A better fix would have been to serialize the lower-level invocations of the operating system's fork/exec system calls, which would still allow multiple instances of LrTa

I was using Lightroom v15.2 on my laptop (ASUS ProArt H7604JV, i9-13980HX, 32GB RAM,  RTX4060, Win 11 Home 25H2) when I discovered that the Thunderbolt drivers were no longer installed so I couldn’t connect my second monitor. I attempted to use Windows Update to repair Windows and after the “repair” Lightroom wouldn’t open. With the task manager open I can see that Lightroom opens in background processes but never actually starts. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing. I’ve tried opening backed-up catalogs and nothing. I’m going crazy trying to open lightroom so any help is appreciated!

Lightroom Classic silently skips files during batch export if it fails to write Credit/IPTC metadata. Additionally, it misreports local file errors as network issues.Steps to reproduce: Select a batch of images (e.g., 120 files). Export with a metadata preset that includes Credit/Copyright info. Observe that some files are randomly skipped. Actual Results: Only a portion of the files (e.g., 106 out of 120) are exported without a proper per-file error log. A "No network access" error pops up mid-export despite a perfectly stable internet connection. The export engine deletes the entire image file if the metadata write operation fails, instead of just skipping the metadata and saving the image. Expected Results: Lightroom should export the image even if metadata injection fails (best-effort export). Errors should be accurately reported (local I/O failure, not "No network access"). A detailed log should show exactly which files failed and why.  

ISSUE SUMMARYLightroom Classic 15.2 reports "limited graphics acceleration is enabled" in Preferences > Performance. The "Use GPU for image processing" and "Use GPU for export" checkboxes are permanently greyed out. This has persisted for at least 6 months across multiple LrC updates. When I create a new collection in Lightroom Classic 15.2 in order to sync photos from my Mac to other devices (iPad + iPhone), sometimes none of the photos will sync, sometimes a couple only will. What is strange is that if I stay in the Collection folder and make a virtual copy of an “unsyncable” photo and make edits to it, that virtual copy will get synced, but the original photo will remain unsynced. When I look at “diagnostic” in the Synch section of the settings, all it will say under “Error/Synch details” is “Image”, which is not helpful at all. I’ve tried rebuilding the sync data more than once, but it didn’t work. I never used to have sync problems before 15.2, so I hope this can be fixed. Thanks!

Until this evening, I had 12,000 photos of my recent trip to Tanzania on Lightroom Classic. When I initially imported them, for some reason they imported to a folder on my desktop. However, I decided to go with this and have been editing without any issues. Today, when I went to edit some more images, it turns out that 11,000 of my photos now have missing originals. When I tried to locate them, LRC told me that the photos were in the folder on my desktop. However, most of the files have disappeared from that folder. For example, for one date when I have almost 3,000 thumbnails, there are only two remaining files in the folder for that date.  I don't know if this is an issue with LRC or with my imac, but the original files can't have just disappeared into thin air. Or can they?? Obviously, I am desperate to get them back!

Here’s the short version again:After upgrading to Lightroom Classic 15.2, I experience an increase in repeatable and reproducable freezes with following crashes. I’m getting the “AI Edits Storage Error” in Lightroom Classic, and I’ve already followed all the steps listed on Adobe’s help page, but the issue is still happening.Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Confirmed there is enough free disk space Restarted Lightroom and my Mac Ensured only one instance of Lightroom is open Gave Lightroom Classic Full Disk Access and Files & Folders permissions in macOS Verified my user account has Read & Write permissions Checked that the catalog and .lrcat-data folder are accessible Not using any cleanup tools or cloud sync on the catalog while Lightroom is open Despite all this, the error continues to appear and AI edits fail to save properly.
