I hear your pain. I didnt have to tell them anything specific. I guess its a matter or luck who you land up getting? So maybe try again. It did take them a while to verify me and the issue, but once i told them the serials i have (from the page on the site) do not work, they quickly provided me with another few to try until one worked. Did you manag to solve this? I have been in the same position for a few weeks on both my computers. Siging out of CC does not solve it, neother does launching FW from the CC panel instead of the app link. TIA

I have the latest version via CS. But I dont think it's been updated in 2 years, and defintely no major new releases. Is this a dead duck? Any good applications to move over to? Been a staunch user since the old Macromedia days... Thanks

I have been uning and enjoying Firewrosk for years. Easy app to usefor both simple bitmap and vector editing. But it's been written off essentially, and has limitations (like the canvas size, and how big an image can be etc). Is there an equivalent Adobe app that replaces FW, with simlar functionality? And thats easy to use? ... and maybe even one that can open FW layered PNG files? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, i had tried to edit the local root in the site def, to see if it would help - it rescanned 100's of files, but refused to display them still. i landed up having to recreate the site from scratch - not the end of the world, buit a little annoying. Thanks @B i r n o u and @Nancy OShea for trying to help.

I was typing in a few characters to locate a a file in the sidebar file list, and then suddently they all just disappeared. they are still on the machine, just not displayed in DW. I check cloaking - i disabled it. I still see the list of remote files if I'm connected, but nothing on the local side. What did I do - and i do i reverse it 🙂 Thanks

I have a fairly long PDF that customers need to fill out (See sample attached) - which is usually filled out by hand. I would like this to be filled out online, and having the final PDF form (itself, not just the data) saved with the customer's info within the PDF, and then that PDF is sent to me via the server, or saved online for download. I am open to using 3rd party hosted solutions. Notes: 1) The PDF is currently not a fillable form, but i can create one with Acrobat. 2) is it possible to have one of the fields dynamically filled? for example - sample.pdf?e=adobe would fill a certain field with the value 'adobe'? Many thanks!

I have an All Apps plan, have been using Fireworks for years... still stuck with my CS6 version and dont want to give it up. Today, tried to launch it, and get an activation error screen. Howevere, my Acrobat and Dreamweaver are working fine... any ideas? I have tried re-installing via Clud Desktop, nothing helped. Thanks

Was going to ask the same question.... I love how FW has a light footprint, way less that Photoshop or Indesign etc... i use it for quick edit, batch resizes, exports etc. Simple effects - masks, shadows and other simple designs for my web related work. Is there nothing in the CC package (all apps) that does vector/bitmap like FW used to do? I realize i need to jump forwards to something more relevant... hoping to stay within the adove family (would not want to pay for an app.. seen as i have the all aps plan). Thanks!
