So far I've only attempted to move the playback head in the timeline and preview windows. In Vegas if you move the head while it's playing it keeps playing at the new location. If you move it while it's not playing it doesn't move at the new location. It's occasionally annoying if I forget to pause it before trying to move it to a specific location but it also allows me to quickly click around the video looking at things without pressing space every time ...
