Ive been using it all along In fact, when I run the installer, it install the application fine until a 1935 error occurs. Before I press OK and it backtracks, I keep that running because I can use the program in order to create or bind togethor the odd .pdfs I need to send. It still installs on a 62 bit machine much like all other 32 bt applications. In fact, there is no difference in todays product except they moved the toolbar to icons.....whoa big update in 11 yrs.

This is what Ive been saying all along. I couldn't complete the uninstall because of the error, had to get win10 tech support to install two uninstaller in order to try and scrub the program (revo uninstaller & IOuninstaller). The link you provide as a cleaner, is only for 9.0 and DC products, not 8.0 and later.

The download that Adobe provides, setup.exe How is it possible that it carries a username in it, prior to even typing anything (serial key,etc) in it prior to running the install. Also, there is a AcroPro.msi and a AcrobatUpd810_efgj_incr.msp Even when trying to use the .msi it fails. Now when I try to complete a clean install of the program, I run the installer, the error message (1935 error) comes up but before I press 'ok' and have it rollback, I actually use the Program, create and/or join the multiple files then let it crash. There has to be a smarter way !

Have you had any luck with the reinstall of the software you purchased? I bought Pro 8.0 and cannot complete a clean install. There is absolutely no difference in the Pro version you mention and DC, except that Adobe is trying to scam a subscription base from previous owners.

Finally got the app or program uninstalled, no thanks to Adobe. Had to install Revo Uninstaller and a IOuninstaller to "clean" the previous install, NOW they cannot even support with a proper installer for the re-install. Nice way to treat people who paid for the product !!!!!!!!

Ive obtained the new serial key and installed the Akami software in order to download the exe file for the 'set up files' for Adobe Acrobat 8.1. The installer is not working (bootstrapper), getting a 1935 error. Need to complete a clean install. Ive managed to uninstall the corrupted program but need to reinstall now and am running into difficulties. Thanks,

Hi. Ive managed to scrub or uninstall the app (adobe acrobat 8.1) as it was corrupted. Im going through the install and am getting the same error message (1935). Im having problems with the installer exe file in the set up files. Does anyone know where to obtain an installer to complete a 'clean install", this one says its a 'bootstrapper' installer or something like that. thx

In understand and have been using the compatability mode, which has been fine. As i said, I was making an adjustment so I could have the program run rather than windows pop up (UAC) and then things got buggered. Your right about the installation, just dont know where to obtain the installation file and a cleaner to ensure everything is addressed for a clean install. thx

Good morning, I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro and am using Win 10. A couple things, when I try to repair Acrobat it looks for an installation file, cannot locate it and then fails to repair. Next, I tried to have Adobe open and avoid the UAC window popping up everytime I want to use the program, now it opens randomly, not sure how that can occur? Thanks,
